Please don't call people out like that — we welcome people from all walks of life, bearing all sorts of random opinions here at Nintendo Life. Users here don't have to like every single game Nintendo makes without question. That would just be silly. :3 — TBD
Well I'm glad Nintendo has learned from their mistakes, and I'm sure that they will somehow fix that shovelware problem with Wii U. I think that they also left behind those days of censoring, except for games with strong religious themes, especially for the Binding of Isaac (it's really a disgusting game, even for me as an atheist).
I don't know what I would've given this game, considering I'm not a game reviewer, but I will say that I'm having a lot of fun with it and I think a 7 isn't enough for this game.
@shingi_70 Ok, we get it you like Xbox, having cable is not the big of a deal anyway, I don't think this will really be integral or even relevant to playing games on my gaming console.
It's not Nintendo's fault that their games are so great, and of course they will overshadow third parties if said third parties are lazy and just want to make a quick buck on a remake.
Nintendo should've kept Rare's properties considering they don't even use them anymore. Banjo and Kazooie, Killer Instinct, Jet Force Gemini, etc. would have made good quality IPs for Nintendo.
I was playing Yoshi Island the other day on my SNES and I was just thinking how awesome it will look on a 3DS screen since there are sometimes objects like branches and leaves on the foreground that makes the game look even better.
I'm mostly excited about Wii U. Of course it won't have the same graphical capabilities as the next Xbox or PS4 but its the games that are making me look forward to it the most. I think the controller will add a lot of cool features and combined with Nintendo franchises looking a hell of a lot better than the Gamecube and Wii generation, it's going to be the most interesting console for me at least.
On Microsoft's and Sony's consoles I actually have a lot mote fun with third party games than with the actual console exclusives. I think most developers are going to be making the Wii U game first and then port it to the other consoles, which will make the Wii U the console that runs third party games the best. We will see though...
I am genuinely excited about this news, because not only will this be tremendously convenient but it may also encourage kids to read a little more. I hope they offer some Paulo Cohelo books for my region and I will totally buy a subscription for Nintendo Power the moment the service is live, since the publication is US only.
For the people complaining about having to be in the living room, I'm sure that at least the Wii U will support enough distance from the living room to you bedroom, and if not, what's wrong with sitting comfy on your sofa while reading a book?

MachineLaw commented on Two More Games to Leave EU Virtual Console:
Maybe this is the reason why they are releasing more games into the Virtual Consoles now? So that it balances out this content that is going away.
