Nothing for me this week and I'm NOT waiting for super Mario maker. I never bought a Wii U, I prefer handheld gaming (3ds) and since they refuse to offer many good games for it anymore I'm just enjoying what I already have and buying a few older games cheap when I need something "new" to play. Sorry about your loss of profits from me, Nintendo. Haha

Does Nintendo ever read how many "Nothing for me this week" votes are on here every single week? It's always a rather large number. We obviously are interested in buying games or we wouldn't all be reading these posts and voting. But they continually churn out oodles of junk and no one wants to buy it. What ever happened to the good 'ol days when decent games were common and not a rarity?

Actually, the video game industry did indeed collapse in the mid 80s, between the 4 bit era (Atari, Intellevision), and the revitalizing 8 bit era (Nintendo, Sega Master System). And then Nintendo nearly went down again after the Game Cube, until Iwata saved them. But the direction Nintendo is going now has no potential to be profitable in the long term unless they stop these money making gimmicks they are obsessed with now.

@Aromaiden the only thing in the past that resembled this money making obsession was the arcades of old that sucked the quarters by the hundreds for millions of teens in the 70s and 80s. And I'm happy to say I never fell for that either. I was a computer game programmer in that era, and also enjoyed the home consoles. Never one to pay per play or fall for the current statue craze (Amiibo, Infinity, etc.) These tactics in the past were always last resorts to try to save a failing game industry. And they ultimately accelerated the demise.

This game should just be a free download if you have to buy all that Amiibo garbage in order to enjoy it. I've been a gamer for decades and I am so sick of all these money-making obsessions that game developers have these days, I'm seriously considering just giving up on ever buying new games again.

Now if only Americans could be wise in light of this news and not purchase any of Nintendo's mobile games. That is the most ignorant direction Nintendo has ever taken. It defies everything Nintendo has ever stood for. Nintendo used to be all about gaming independently. High quality game systems, innovation, physical copies of games, family friendly, affordable, reliable, and better than any other. Now they are garbage. Money hungry, lost inspiration and innovation, and want you to only have digital games which are excessively over priced. And worse yet, they are basically just rentals. You never own a digital game (read the terms of service on them!). But you always owned the physical copies. Nintendo, I am so ashamed that I spent decades heavily promoting you, only to see you turn to THIS. I'm absolutely disgusted.

Why is Style Savvy Trendsetters not on that list?! After Tomodachi Life at #1 for me, that would be #2. Other favorite cartridges of mine are Girls Fashion Shoot, Freakyforms Deluxe, Cooking Mama 5, Cut The Rope: Triple Treat, Puzzler World 2012, and Gardening Mama 2.

Funny that after all this time, Natsume releases a demo for Harvest Moon The Lost Valley. Just days before Story of Seasons comes out! Looks like they are nervous, and rightfully so! Natsume made a train wreck of the Harvest Moon series and they know Xseed's new version is going to leave them in the dust! No demo of that horrible Harvest Moon will save them! They should have called it Harvest Minecraft: The Lost Attempt.

Kiyata_Hamasaki commented on Poll: Which New Nintendo 3DS Will You be Buying?:

If I bought one it would have to be the XL because I am vision impaired. But despite that I just don't see a need for one. I don't like the extra joystick, and I think Amiibo is a ridiculous waste of money and useless to me. I'm sticking with my existing systems. No plans to ever get the new one.

Kiyata_Hamasaki commented on Review: Christmas Wonderland 4 (3DS eShop):

These games actually are pretty good and have the best graphics of the hidden object games on 3ds. Problem is the ridiculously high prices of them! This is $10 and it's soooo not worth that. Every game in this series can be finished in a couple hours. They should never charge more than, say, $3.99 for them. Even $4.99 is a bit much (referring to #3 being on sale at that price now).

...In other news, the gaming community would greatly benefit from having Super Nintendo games added to the 3ds eShop virtual console. Or at the very least, a graphically enhanced re-release of Secret of Mana and/or Earthbound on a 3ds cartridge.
