Obviously the Pokemon company is consumed with greed. That was evident with the audacious cash grabbing Eshop games they made recently - Pokemon Shuffle and Pokemon Rumble World. Greed greed greed! Here was a guy having an event that most obviously PROMOTED Pokemon and yet they still sue him. If I was him I would never have anything to do with anything Pokemon from there on. He has my sympathy.

Nintendo really shunned North America with this program. They closed it several months ago, claiming that a new program would come by the end of summer. Well it's now fall and guess what? Nothing happened. And even worse, the stuff I wasted my coins on took forever to arrive in the mail (literally FOUR MONTHS!) and then they had the audacity to charge others half what I "paid" for it before it ever arrived. I'm really getting fed up with them.

This game has taken over my life. It's exceedingly better than any other animal crossing game. Much more addictive, much more entertaining, cute, funny, and overall awesome. I logged 10 hours just in my first 3 days of having it (and I actually have a life and limited game time!). I would have rated this 10 stars all the way. The more I play it, the more there is to do, much more to unlock and explore. It's just absolutely awesome. If this was the only 3DS game I had, I would still be sufficiently entertained!

The DS did well because of having so many games available for it. They have released only a fraction as many for the 3DS and sales aren't as good. How dumb can they be? What are we supposed to do with it (why have, why buy) if there's so little to play on it? Why don't they want to make/sell games anymore?!

Kiyata_Hamasaki commented on New Style Boutique 2 Uses amiibo To Keep You A...:

Pardon me, Nintendo, but I just wanted to remind you that hundreds of thousands of gamers in North America want this game and would happily buy and play it. Not sure why you always put us at the bottom of the list for game releases. What if we put you at the bottom of the list for our hobbies (aka money spent)?!

Hatsune Miku is just so bad. The concept is awesome, the graphics are fantastic, the side stuff is great, but the songs are awful. How can you play a rhythm game with no rhythm? It's just random tapping to a constant static-like noise masquerading as music. Ugggghhhh.... I sooooo wanted to love that game. Had it been more like Parappa, that would have changed everything.

Kiyata_Hamasaki commented on Nintendo Download: 3rd September (North America):

I used to play my 3ds twice a day every single day for years, but with the lack of games this year, I've only played it maybe 7 or 8 times all SUMMER. I've been playing free games on my iPad instead. And I've spent nearly 30 years being dedicated to Nintendo. They have completely snubbed 3ds owners. And I still will not download their pay to play junk on my iPad either if they put that stuff in the App Store. The good days of Nintendo have become a distant memory

Kiyata_Hamasaki commented on Nintendo Download: 20th August (North America):

Nothing for me this week and I'm NOT waiting for super Mario maker. I never bought a Wii U, I prefer handheld gaming (3ds) and since they refuse to offer many good games for it anymore I'm just enjoying what I already have and buying a few older games cheap when I need something "new" to play. Sorry about your loss of profits from me, Nintendo. Haha

Kiyata_Hamasaki commented on Nintendo Download: 6th August (North America):

Does Nintendo ever read how many "Nothing for me this week" votes are on here every single week? It's always a rather large number. We obviously are interested in buying games or we wouldn't all be reading these posts and voting. But they continually churn out oodles of junk and no one wants to buy it. What ever happened to the good 'ol days when decent games were common and not a rarity?

Kiyata_Hamasaki commented on Video: Nintendo Begins Promotion Of Animal Cro...:

Actually, the video game industry did indeed collapse in the mid 80s, between the 4 bit era (Atari, Intellevision), and the revitalizing 8 bit era (Nintendo, Sega Master System). And then Nintendo nearly went down again after the Game Cube, until Iwata saved them. But the direction Nintendo is going now has no potential to be profitable in the long term unless they stop these money making gimmicks they are obsessed with now.

Kiyata_Hamasaki commented on Video: Nintendo Begins Promotion Of Animal Cro...:

@Aromaiden the only thing in the past that resembled this money making obsession was the arcades of old that sucked the quarters by the hundreds for millions of teens in the 70s and 80s. And I'm happy to say I never fell for that either. I was a computer game programmer in that era, and also enjoyed the home consoles. Never one to pay per play or fall for the current statue craze (Amiibo, Infinity, etc.) These tactics in the past were always last resorts to try to save a failing game industry. And they ultimately accelerated the demise.

Kiyata_Hamasaki commented on Video: Nintendo Begins Promotion Of Animal Cro...:

This game should just be a free download if you have to buy all that Amiibo garbage in order to enjoy it. I've been a gamer for decades and I am so sick of all these money-making obsessions that game developers have these days, I'm seriously considering just giving up on ever buying new games again.

Kiyata_Hamasaki commented on Nintendo's Mobile Partner DeNA Lays Off Signif...:

Now if only Americans could be wise in light of this news and not purchase any of Nintendo's mobile games. That is the most ignorant direction Nintendo has ever taken. It defies everything Nintendo has ever stood for. Nintendo used to be all about gaming independently. High quality game systems, innovation, physical copies of games, family friendly, affordable, reliable, and better than any other. Now they are garbage. Money hungry, lost inspiration and innovation, and want you to only have digital games which are excessively over priced. And worse yet, they are basically just rentals. You never own a digital game (read the terms of service on them!). But you always owned the physical copies. Nintendo, I am so ashamed that I spent decades heavily promoting you, only to see you turn to THIS. I'm absolutely disgusted.

Why is Style Savvy Trendsetters not on that list?! After Tomodachi Life at #1 for me, that would be #2. Other favorite cartridges of mine are Girls Fashion Shoot, Freakyforms Deluxe, Cooking Mama 5, Cut The Rope: Triple Treat, Puzzler World 2012, and Gardening Mama 2.

Funny that after all this time, Natsume releases a demo for Harvest Moon The Lost Valley. Just days before Story of Seasons comes out! Looks like they are nervous, and rightfully so! Natsume made a train wreck of the Harvest Moon series and they know Xseed's new version is going to leave them in the dust! No demo of that horrible Harvest Moon will save them! They should have called it Harvest Minecraft: The Lost Attempt.
