Kirigirisu commented on Rumour: Two Zelda Titles in Development:
It seems odd to me that they would use the word プロフェシー (purofeshii) to mean prophecy rather than the more native 予言 (yogen) or even 神託 (shintaku).
Nevertheless, loan-words aren't uncommon I suppose...

I'd also prefer Animal Crossing...

Kirigirisu commented on Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D's European Box Art i...:
I like both, it's what's in the box that counts.
That being said, if I HAD to choose, I'd choose the EU one.

I very much enjoyed the pun.

I'd pay £250, anything above that is pushing it a little for me.

My Wii has never had any problems though I think we're on our 2nd or 3rd XBOX 360.

I remember playing this when it was released in it's Deluxe edition, I was way too young to appreciate just how good it was!

I really liked that review, I've never played any of the Phantasy Star games prior to the Dreamcast entry (haha) and this seriously makes me consider playing!

I find something about this deeply disturbing.

Kirigirisu commented on Review: Guitar Rock Tour (DSiWare):
Pop Superstar also had vocals in the mini-games, even if the vocals were sometimes a little whiny they were still there!

Kirigirisu commented on Review: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince...:
The GBC games were fairly decent RPGs, at least when I played them I thought they were anyway!

I'm the infamous Adam that reviewed the game, for future reference~

Kirigirisu commented on Review: Brain Challenge (DSiWare):
Nice review, I like the sound of the game but I don't think I want to part with 800 points for it! I'll wait for something else a bit more original maybe!

Kirigirisu commented on Review: Bit Boy!! (WiiWare):
To those complaining I don't mention both control schemes;
"The joystick control works really quite well and it does feel like one is playing with a joystick"
"Using the Wii Remote as a NES-style controller, akin to the Virtual Console, also works well here and there are no complaints to be made about the in-game controls."
I think I made it quite clear there are two control schemes.

Kirigirisu commented on Review: Bit Boy!! (WiiWare):
Oh don't worry, I'm not at all offended, in fact I'm rather more amused and indeed impressed that everyone can find so much to talk about when it comes to Bit Boy!!

@wiiloveit: Consider as in: verb [ trans. ] (often be considered)
think carefully about (something).

Thanks for your views Wiiloveit, as they were so eloquently put I'll truly consider them, also your use of Mister was very pleasing.

Kirigirisu commented on Review: Sudoku 150! For Challengers (DSiWare):
It's just my view, but for the asking prince 150 is a wealth of puzzles, lesser apps and games have been far more unbalanced in their set prices.

Kirigirisu commented on Review: Pop Superstar: Road to Celebrity (DSiW...:
It really depends on how long you make it, the story is pretty long but if you want to get perfect at the higher difficulty levels you'll be playing for a while.

I really want this actually - I'm a little obsessed with fitness games.

Kirigirisu commented on Nintendo: The Game Boy Advance Is Alive And Well:
I actually recently bought a Gameboy Advance Micro since my DSi can't play my GBA games anymore - it only cost £20 though I wish I'd bought the SP so I could play GB/C games too!
#39
Kirigirisu commented on Review: Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (GameCube):
I loved this game and in the grand scheme of things I think it most certainly deserves the score it got!

I'll just buy the Japanese version I think!
#41
Kirigirisu commented on Zelda: Spirit Tracks To Appeal To a Wider Age ...:
I'll wait until the game is released or we have some early views from reviewers before I decide anything, I actually really liked Phantom Hourglass and while it wasn't overly difficult and at times rather easy it was definitely a worthwhile distraction!
#42
Kirigirisu commented on Review: Trace Memory (DS):
I think if it had been offered at a budget price it would generate an overall better reaction, it's short length is in a way one of it's stronger points - Hotel Dusk drags at times.
#43
Kirigirisu commented on Review: Trace Memory (DS):
I bought this game with my original DS on it's release and I must say I really fell in love with it. While Hotel Dusk: Room 215 is a much lengthier and perhaps overall deeper adventure something about Another Code and it's setting, namely the mansion, made it special.

Kirigirisu commented on Review: Retro Game Challenge (DS):

I went a few years ago, it was pretty interesting, the previewed The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on gamecube if I remember correctly.

Kirigirisu commented on Review: WarioWare: Snapped! (DSiWare):
I actually really like the game, it's a bargain! As Togovero said above we are only paying a small price for the game and the main issue I have is the initial "line up," during the actual games it seems to matter less. The games themselves carry the same charm as earlier games and the photo sessions at the end are hilarious - "Head over Heels for Harvey" really made me laugh.
A few tips; if you have a long fringe / bangs pin them or move them so that your eyebrows are visible. Try and pay particular attention to lining up your chin to the template - works for me! Don't wear glasses if possible!
