KatoStudios commented on Assassin's Creed III on Wii U Will Feature All...:

@rcmadiax the great thing about Assassins creed is none of the games require you to have played others. They are all completely separate. (though they do reference each-other sometimes with a character, but you can still understand EVERYTHING in the game without prior experience in assassins creed. Adding this to my Wii U collection on release day. IDC about DLC's. Why te hell would I want it on xbox or ps3, when the Wii U is a newer system? Like really. Wii U all the way if you are buying any games that are on all platforms.

It's all about preference so I am not going to be rude. I prefer the actual analog like what ps3 and 360 have. Honestly I wouldn't buy the console if it still had sliders because FPS's would be (no offense, I just prefer analogs incredibly). So excited for Wii U, already payed for my premium bundle in full, now just gotta wait.

KatoStudios commented on Sony: Wii U is Targeting "Niche Early Adopter ...:

It's obvious that the WIi U is better than any model of ps3. It has more GPU, CPU, and awesome features the ps3 cannot offer. The gamepad is awesome, and I love the second screen idea. Sony has the vita and ps3, but that is a combo. It's too expensive, and the Vita is a marketing lie. It never really put out the same graphics as ps3, and it won't for a long time. And sony is of course watching nintendo. I guarantee if Nintendo makes another sensation out of Wii U, which they will. Sony and microsoft will release gamepads for their new consoles, and try to improve on them. All they do is copy nintendo, they never bring anything original to the table. All they do differently is improve graphics. Nintendo deserves the highest respect. Without Nintendo, there would be no consoles, or hardcore gaming at all like it is today.

KatoStudios commented on Reaction: Wii U Preview Events:

@wickhamfish Ya, and Activision CEO said that "black ops 2 looks and runs best on Wii U, with a variety of added bonus features that the gamepad brings to call of duty". He also explain how the graphics are noticably better on Wii U, even when they don't try using the Wii U's power. The power will be demonstrated through titles released at least 3 months after the Wii U is in stores.

KatoStudios commented on Reaction: Wii U Preview Events:

I am very pleased with Wii U. I had the honor of getting to try Zombiu at the Ubisoft booth at E3. holding the gamepad is easy, it so so smooth. I found it to be THE most comfortable game controlller I have ever used. The button layout works, sure you might have to think twice at first about the buttons being below the analog sticks, but in the end it works so much better, as the games have been adjusted to fit the button layout perfectly. The gamepad has a great screen. Some people said it had low resolution, but it didn't. It has a very clear screen, and playing a game on it alone looks great, and there is 0 lag. In fact the gamepad receives data a few milliseconds faster than a tv on hdmi will, so do the math, or don't. I watched as one of my friends got to play Mass Effect 3 at an event more recently (in the summer). They tried it with the gamepad, and then completely on the gamepad without the TV. It is truly a great system. We were also walked through all the features that were announced at the time, and even that sold a majority of people on the system. It is far beyond ps3 and xbox 360 capabilities. The launch titles will NOT demonstrate its power, but just show what franchises are available. However, Activision CEO says the Black Ops 2 looks much better on the WIi U, and is noticably? better. Publishers are saying to expect the graphics to be shown ( a bit, still not full power) after the first 3 or so months have passed.

KatoStudios commented on Talking Point: Wii U and the Next Generation o...:

@mieu-fire Well this is a large rumor but is seems believable. People are saying that the Wii U because of its power already has lots of third party support. This support is planned for announcement on sept. 13 during the press conference that Nintendo is hosting in New York City. This makes a lot of sense as games like Black Ops 2 are a must, and a big possibility as treyarch says they like the Wii U.

KatoStudios commented on ZombiU Gets Royally Scary in Buckingham Palace:

@Janett I think you mean armoured? Zombiu has no zombies which are giant mutations or armed with weapons. They do however have the abiity to climb over waste height objects, which makes sense, and some are members from army and swat forces making them armoured and hard to kill (but very easy to kill with melee, a little tip from me :P). Her majesty has been confirmed in the game, she may be a survivor though, we will not be told this information, Ubisoft says it is up to the players to figure the rest out.

@The_Fox I think the name was poorly decided upon, but as far as I know, it is only named that because it is exclusive to Wii U. But for those of you who will not be buying a Wii U. Don't fret! It will come to PS3 and xbox 360, or next gen consoles, sometime in 2013. uUbisoft stated "Of course it can be put on other consoles. It's just not something that we will be doing within the first six months".

@triforcepower73 Ya but no offense to nintendo, the wii sucked for any games other than family games. The wii U will change their rep though, i tested it at a ubisoft booth, freaking amazing. The gamepad is so easy to hold, and smooth, looks like a very expensive unit (but it is not). It is a great system. I never got to try the multiplayer though, I just watched them play it.

KatoStudios commented on ZombiU Gets Royally Scary in Buckingham Palace:

@19Robb92 Agreed. They have released one multiplayer mode where one player is in first person with a pro controller, and one places zombies with teh gamepad, and it is capture the flag only, but I believe that they are going to release more multiplayer modes before it comes out, or as DLC's. But multiplayer is not a large focus for those developers. Apparently game testers said its one of the best parts of the game, endless fun.

@Happy_Mask Haha I'm really hoping to see some kind of pre-order rewards for this game. I think there could be some really awesome ones. Like the survival kit case for the controller, would be really awesome. But something tells me that will be in a collectors edition, because of what the case might cost to make.

@grenworthshero I hate to bug ppl like this, but you are wrong. Developers have said, "Zombiu is on-par with current gen games, but wait a few months after the Wii U's release, and you will be seeing graphics that are beyond those of Playstation 3. (and ps3 already exceeds xbox capabilities, no offense fanboys).

KatoStudios commented on ZombiU Gets Royally Scary in Buckingham Palace:

@Alien_Mosky Sadly, during a developer interview. Of course the reporter asked "Whats inside buckingham?" (then as a joke says) "Zombified Maj eh?" (as in her majesty the queen). And the developer replies "haha, well we will leave that for you to discover". So this means that the queen is in the game, I would think she was a zombie, seeing as buckingham has been destroyed, but the queen lives in other places during the year, so you never know, she could be a hardcore survivalist haha.

KatoStudios commented on Blitz: Forget The Specs, Wii U Is Getting Deve...:

Developers at Ubisoft stated because of the way the system is desgned, it runs at least twice as much as a PS3 today can handle at 100% usage (which has never been done on PS3). Wii U also has better hardware allowing it to have much more realistic shaders/lighting than the current gen consoles. It will be a good competitor against next gen systems, but of course, microsoft and sony will update theirs to have better graphics. But with the way they designed the Wii U, i think it will probably outsell Ps4 and the next xbox. As the Wii did this gen.

KatoStudios commented on Could The Wii U GamePad Suffer From Latency?:

@Moshugan LCD tv's dont take game console/dvd player input at as high of a rate as LED. People also report this happening with xbox and ps3 when using a LCD. This is often just because of the way their TV was made, and what brand. But sometimes the console it to blame. But things get fixed. I never had this problem with my LED or LCD tv's.

KatoStudios commented on Could The Wii U GamePad Suffer From Latency?:

@TimboBaggins This article has unconfirmed information. This is not an issue with the gamepad. I personally tested a gamepad and had no issues playing on a single screen. The booth representative freely showed me how to do so, and it was great. For me it was just as responsive. So I would not believe this article. Also people complain about a pour resolution, or touch screen. For me it was great, i loved it. Not too high resolution, but enough to make the gamepad more than worth using. I loved just looking at it. It was great, easy to hold, and the best thing a video game system could ever make. I can't wait to own one.

@Tempest Exactly. People always exxagerate about upcoming consoles to get everyone worried. And it isn't working on me. I know everything that I can/need to know about the Wii U, and it is very impressive. Definitely worth buying. Im sure I'll get more use out of it than with my PS3 seeing as it has awesome games coming like Zombiu (which is a launch title).

KatoStudios commented on Could The Wii U GamePad Suffer From Latency?:

Nintendo showcased these Wii U models many months back. What had been tested for this article was what is (in the game world) known as a "Trial" unit. These units are obviously not going to be the final deal, they are just meant to be showcasing these games. Over the years, xbox and ps3 had shown many problems during showcases, which were resolved before they were released. Of course there "could" be some millisecond lag, but this i guarantee would not affect the way you play the game. It would be more than fast enough to play. Especially with the gamepad's high rate of wifi data transfer. Any latency over the wifi is simply a developer coding issue. The gamepad can transfer fast enough. This latency is definitely a problem with the game and how it was coded, and I'm sure it will be resolved in no time. Actually by now It probably is.

KatoStudios commented on E3 2012: Wii U to Launch in White, Black Avail...:

@super-nintendo I was just pondering on your comment. And you amde me realize something. I'm starting to think Nintendo took a different stand with the Wii U. And if you think about it, that is their goal, to be entirely different than ever before. Now by how many Black units they have showcased recently, and the mass advertising of black and white equally. Maybe both will be available on launch. I guarantee Nintendo knows that what they did with the Wii Black failed. It made way less money than they hoped. Apparently they lost money on the black unit because of its late, outdated release. Don't be surprised if when you pre-order your wii u (if you do) they say "What color?". I think nintendo has been hinting at that for awhile now by showing both.

KatoStudios commented on E3 2012: Wii U to Launch in White, Black Avail...:

@Lyssified Everyone has good reason to wonder if they should buy it on launch. But the way I see it. Even if it doesnt end up being a hugely popular system, like xbox or ps3. It will still be great. I for one think it will change gaming forever. In my opinion, xbox and ps3 will soon follow the dual screen path, and enable touch features. Guarenteed. I recommend buying one, but in the end it is your choice, Afterall it is probably around $300 CAD. Thats quite a bit for a system. But keep in mind the touch screen controller. That would explain a hefty price.

KatoStudios commented on E3 2012: Wii U to Launch in White, Black Avail...:

Please understand this comment means no disrespect to anyone. But if you really think about it, the color of your console does not matter. For once its literally whats on the inside that counts. What the Wii U can do, is why you should want it. Not because of what colour it is. If you care so much about colour, go buy a cute pillowcase. They come in any color you want. Blue, green, barbie, anything. Like really. Its a game system. Try to make the best of it. And another note. I have had many booth representatives at such events claim that the system has certain features, or does not have certain ones, or release date estimates, and more. And they have been wrong at least 7 out of 10 times for me. I wouldn't say that their words are fact. They are guessing, the same way me and you are as well. Really looking forward to this system. Black looks a bit classier, but if i have to get white first, ill buy black later. No biggie. Or get mine redone.
