Exactly! This will come back to bite them in the butt. When PS4/720 come out and struggle for sales in this new market EA will see what all this crap has done for them. In the meantime Nintendo will be releasing their big name first party games and interest in the Wii U will go up. Christmas time will come and kids will be wanting their Mario Kart, Mario 3D etc.

So this time it's Wii U that's partly responsible. What's next? if PS4/720 don't have great launches he'll blame them instead of the lack of games people wanted? Of course it couldn't have to do with Activision itself or the changing market.

I agree that the lineup could have been larger but these are not as simple as putting the games on the wii virtual console. I've read that people want ALL the games on day one and they too would complain that the weeks after launch there were no new games. I hope we get the update tomorrow and VC on Thursday but who knows. Hopefully they release a few games each week to keep us happy! We did see other games in pictures on Monday. I did see something about more maintenance on Thursday. I really hope that means update is before and maintenance is to add VC.

these updates are great news. I'm looking forward to vc, wii booting from main menu and auto updates. I'm guessing that the wii u will update any software we have on disc based on the saves we have on the system. Either way it'll be great to update while it's off.

How very true! Just because something is coming to Nintendo people have to get their knickers in a twist.

Honestly I would be fine with this 3DS Direct if at the end of it they simply announced release dates for Pikmin 3, Wario, Wonderful 101, Wii Fit U and the date of the update and miiverse change to mobile. Waiting until E3 to announce new games we've not heard of and show footage of them is fine by me! Dates that's all we ask for.

I know they have the 3DS and need to discuss it but it's selling well. What about release dates for the Wii U games we've been waiting on, date of update and news about Miiverse coming to mobile. Wii U really needs more attention here not the 3DS.

Can't wait for Lego City to download on Monday and then NFS:MW is pre-ordered to ship out as well! Finally new games to play.

Supposedly March 21st for Zen Pinball 2 but we've heard dates before. Let's hope this time it happens with Star Wars tables too.
