This is one of the best games ever made.

Just picked up Super Paper Mario today that's my game for this weekend.

Now I'll have to buy me a Wii U.

This is just stupid. I bought a new Xbox (the Star Wars one, just because it was so cool) and with a transfer cable I transferred all the content I wanted from my old Xbox to my new one. I took me about 15 minutes. With an account and software locked to a machine you just can't re-download everything either (like if your machine brakes and the warranty has expired and you buy a new one). It's things like this that have kept med from buying a Wii U.

This is a massive disappointment for me. This was the main reason I wanted a Wii U, to be able to play all my VC games where I wanted (and I have a lot of them). Guess I will stick to my Wii and my 360.

I'm worried that the European launch will drag out until early 2013.

I bought my Wii in February 2008 soley for the VC. I have since downloaded way too many VC games but I've had good fun and most of them will never get old. It took almost a year before I bought a Wii game. I have bought a few Wii games since and I play occasionally but not as much as I did when I first bought the system.

Then maybe I should write a letter. I've been playing Shining Force 1 on the VC once a month since it came out.

It's such a shame that Nintendo doesn't put more care into VC. There are hundreds upon hundreds of games just waiting to be released. Where are Gods and Chaos Engine?

Am I the only one who's actually looking forward to this release?

I do wan't this to be released outside Japan. But I doubt it will. I think Super Mario All Stars will get a VC release in the U.S and Europe.

I will buy Machinarium the day it comes out!

If this doesn't come to Europe I will get me a Japanese Wii.

Please, bring this to the VC!

I can't see why Nintendo doesn't give us the 60hz 480P versions. I only buy TurboGrfX games on VC now days as I cant stand the resolution problems and the slow speed.
Would it really be such a big deal for Nintendo to give us what we want? Is there licensing issues stopping them or are they just ignorant?

A good little game. I really like it and I think it's worth the 1000 points price tag. I haven't been able to unlock the other costumes though.

576i for Ironclad = No buy for me. When will Nintendo learn that we Europeans want 60hz 480P?

The DS2 will be revealed at the 24th. It will be released early next year (or maybe Christmas this year in Japan). The Wii's successor will be revealed at E3 2011 and released 2012.
This is my predictions and I'm pretty sure I'm not that far off.

The Wii has been having consistent sales figures since release. One can not say the same thing for the PS3. Sony was forced to release a slim model with a lower price tag to boost sales. Sure, the Wii has certainly reached it's peak but it still sales good.

He (or they) can't program, that's it. If they actually made some effort with Monkey Island it would have been no problem but as we've seen there is problems. If they thought that the Wii was so underpowered why release the game on that platform in the first place?

About WiiWare selling better than VC. Put some official numbers up from Nintendo.

There isn't a more addictive or more hardcore game on the Wii.

Is this in 480P or 480i ?

Square Enix doing Zelda. Or a dream come true, a remake of Super Mario Brother by the long since lost Bitmap Brothers!

Let's put thing in perspective. Here in Sweden the Wii games retail for 48£ (before the increase). The 360 games are just a bit higer and the PS3 games can retail for 64£.

Capcom will support the VC-arcade service. No doubt. I think we will see a lot more games from them on arcade than on the other systems.

Does this (and the other arcade games) play in 576i/50 HZ in PAL regions, or is it like the TurboGrafx games with 480P/60 HZ?

Nintendo treats it's service like ****! First the VC and then the WiiWare. They could have earned millions by doing new 16-bit-like games of their own brands. I guess they earn enough already.

This shows only one thing. People that doesn't have a clue about games shouldn't have anything to do with them, period!
I don't care if he's been working 100 years in the industry. He only works there because he got a job there in the beginning and he's to lazy to switch over to another industry. He doesn't care about games, he cares about money. This is why the gaming industry is so full of carp games and crap people.

That's a hard core gamer if there ever was one!

DoReMi and Lost levels will be my choices this festival. SMRPG is no doubt a good game but I don't have the desire for it as some others seem to have. I'm looking forward to Shining Force 2 and Pro Wrestling.

A very good release indeed! I predict that NoE will continue their every other week system. Next week will give us some WW and the week after that will give us DoReMi and DigDug or Bio Miracle. In that way they will be able to extend the Hanabi over a longer time.
