@Pichubby

'Being gay is a choice' You. Are. Wrong. You are totally ignorant and to be honest, you seem to be oblivious to the truth, as if you have been indoctrinated someway by your religion. This saddens me.

Humanity is an incomprehensible thing. We prod and probe all the time and we are constantly finding out something new and wonderful about what makes us, us. Being gay is as much a choice as you being straight.

@pichubby The entire Bible is an ancient guideline. Think about how much we have evolved culturally. By 'evolve' I don't mean on the DNA level, I mean mentally. How we see things, how we know what is right and what is wrong.

It is not a 'belief' that people are gay. What is it about that that you can't grasp? People who are gay are gay because they are. It is not a belief, it is their truth.

I take it that you believe in evolution then? If that is the case, then you must surely agree that 'Genesis' is wrong and Adam & Eve are not as they were in the Bible. If that is the case, then the Bible is not 100% accurate so you can't claim homosexuality is wrong because the bible says so.

@HylianJowi It's my pleasure. I just find it hard to believe that in this day and age people can still have such ignorant views. Despite the overwhelming evidence, the extraordinary amount of 'eyewitness' testimonies from gay people and especially with the advent of the internet, how we can hear so many peoples' stories in such a short amount of time with such ease, that people will still overwrite any of this with the words of a group of men thousands of years ago.

@PvtOttobot I'm not saying your whole life's purpose was just a mistake. I'm saying your attitude towards your fellow man, just because of their sexuality, is appalling. It is true you need to evolve if you genuinely believe everything you read in The Bible. You are showing no respect to homosexual people; thus you must agree you wish to be treated with no respect. 'Treat others the way you wish to be treated'. If you treat others with disrespect you can not bemoan others for treating you similarly.

'The lifestyle they choose' No, homosexual people don't choose to be gay. Just as you don't choose to be straight. Just as you don't choose to like the taste of certain foods. Just as you don't choose to be attracted to person x and not person y.

I don't respect your beliefs PvtOttobot. I respect that you can follow guidelines and be a part of a group. I don't respect that you will blindly follow ancient text, and in doing so discriminate against a large proportion of the population. I can respect anyone that has a religious belief and allows others to have different beliefs, but you are ignorant of other people. You are actively calling people who are gay, who have no choice in that, wrong. It's disgusting.

@Pichubby The fulcrum of the Christian faith is the golden rule, is it not? 'Treat others as you would wish to be treated, love thy neighbour' and all that? Blocking two men/two women from marrying each other purely because they don't have different genitals is discrimination and the opposite of the golden rule.

I personally believe religion can be a good thing, in that it can foster a sense of community between people, but those who blindly follow writings from thousands of years ago without questioning them are scary. Think about it. It was legal to own slaves hundreds of years ago. As times change and we realise how utterly evil that sort of thing is, we evolve as a species. Those who refuse to accept the beliefs of those who lived thousands of years ago could be antiquated, a bit behind the times, are inherently stupid.

I'm straight, but it's so clear to see that people who love each other have the right to do so, and have the right to commit to one another without some ancient bull**** 'guidelines' telling them it's unlawful to do so. Please, evolve as a human.

I wish everyone would just see people as 'people' and not 'black, white, gay, straight, woman, man' etc, We're all people, and people love people. There should be no judgement based on who it is we love, as we have no choice over the matter. I can understand that with the current 'debate' going on, and there should be no debate at all, why Nintendo may not have included same-sex marriage, but until we, as a species, accept everyone for who we are, we can't expect every game to follow suit.
