@Falchion So? The point is you don't need to pay for both Pokémon games to get everything.

This however is just taking two parts of a game and separating them. Like what someone mentioned above, taking all the alternate ending of Chrono Trigger and releasing them as DLC. Also, having them as two different games gets rid of the "choice" element, thus making a linear game.

And... why didn't they debunk this sooner, I don't know. But at least this opens up the possibilities for an animated Zelda TV series or movie instead, if they ever wish to make one. Animation fits Zelda much more than live-action.

Jason723 commented on New Nintendo 3DS Exploit Makes Japanese System...:

@Tazcat2011 I don't know if this applies (or ever applied) to video games, but I know back in the 80s and 90s, anime in the US was really expensive to discourage people in Japan from importing anime from overseas, where the anime would be cheaper, if the US companies weren't told to jack up the prices.

So I'm guessing consoles were region locked, so game prices in the US wouldn't have to be absurdly high to prevent people in Japan from importing games from America.

Just make powerful hardware with sufficent media storage. That's why the NES & SNES were successful. N64 and GCN had low media storage compared to the competition, and the Wii and Wii U are underpowerd. So just go back to being competitive and stop these gimmicks that hurt your brand.

Here's how I think amiibo may work in those games.

  • Mario Maker - You can use the amiibos 8/16-bit sprite instead of Mario
  • Star Fox - Tap Fox, Falco, Slippy, or Peppy and you get special powerups
  • Xenoblade X - Dunno
  • Splatoon - You get to wear the character clothes.
  • Zelda U - Instead of Sheikah Stones, you use an amiibo to tell you what to do if you're stuck.

Jason723 commented on Poll: Do Video Game Reviews Need To Have A Score?:

Scores are dumb. A number doesn't define a game. If you want to know if a game interests you or not, you should read a listen to the review not a number. For example one reviewer may hate shooters, so he'll probably give a COD game a low score. Some people may look at that score and think it's a bad game. But if you read the written review, then you can tell that the person just doesn't like shooters and you find another reviewer. So in the end scores mean nothing, it's the written review that tells the person whether they would like the game or not.

And the actual Harry Potter games (well the first three anyways) ended up being Zelda clones. How fitting.

I kinda wish Nintendo did make the Harry potter games instead of EA, because well 4, 5, 6, and 7 wouldn't suck, and also that they'd make the dungeons (spell challenges) more challenging and more puzzling. The games would only seem fun to people who are new to video games or have very fond nostalgic memories of them (like me), but if a seasoned gamer (especially one whose played a 3D Zelda game) played this, they would find it really boring.

I'm surprised people would rather see a live action Zelda over an animated one. There are endless possibilities that you can do with animation. With live action, you're limited by what you can do, especially with a tv show since the budget is lower than a movie.

Also, an F-Zero anime exists. It has 51 episodes, but only 13 were dubbed in english, because the ratings were low.

Jason723 commented on YouTube Stars Aren't Happy With Nintendo's Rev...:

This is a bad thing. Other video game developers let LPers keep 100% of their videos. Nintendo is just being greedy and trying to take every penny they get. Also they're forcing people to say only good things about Nintendo, and they're not allowed to criticize their games in any way.

Seriously people, you can be a Nintendo fan but still hate their business practices and policies.
