@karlitaqt I haven't checked it since I kinda suck at SMK but that's a shame, I can't see why they did it. I recently tried to buy Ittle Dew and it's the same story :(

More on topic, I always thought ALBW started as a 3D version of ALttP. I remember there were rumors about a remake some years ago, then out of nowhere ALBW came out. I know they've told us how it all begun but I still think they had this ALttP world all made up and they just put the ALBW ideas in it.

Jahir commented on Miiverse Update Allows Screenshots As Favourit...:

I've got to say I wasn't really excited at the beginning for this Miiverse thingy, mostly because I used to have just a 3DS. Now I think it's an awesome place where I can spend a nice time, if Nintendo just added chat...

I still don't get the fuzz about PS4. Why would you even buy it right now? I don't see me buying it even in the next few years, I'd rather buy every first-party Nintendo game that's coming out (and a few good third-party games).

Jahir commented on Poll: Which Is The Best Legend Of Zelda Game?:

I've loved every Zelda game I've played but I gotta say TP and WW are the best ones in my book. I chose TP because of the atmosphere, the great music an because I've never felt the same playing a videogame but man it was a hard choice

And I must say that I prefer Link's Awakening over all of the 2D Zelda games, Minish Cap is really close alongside TLoZ... Yup, I don't think LttP is THAT good, I really like the game but I don't feel it as epic/memorable as the others. Maybe it's as @unrandomsam said and I spoiled myself playing Link's Awakening first.

Also, Zelda II is an awesome game too, once you don't care about how difficult it is (it's not that hard) you can really enjoy the great game it is. I played from start to finish and I don't regret

Jahir commented on Review: Shovel Knight (Wii U eShop):

I'm happy it got a nice review. One of the things I love about this game is that it really looks like a NES game, not too artsy, just awesome. I'm looking forward to listen the soundtrack too.

@Sherman Agreed, best headline EVER.

Definitily gonna buy it, it all looks like so much fun. And it's a nice plus that they used mexican lucha libre as the main theme, because you know, it's the ultimate form of wrestling B-)

¡Viva Nintendo Life!

Jahir commented on This Is Where Unwanted 3DS And DS Games Go To Die:

@HADAA That's about right, 12000 lbs would be an astounding number of trash, considering they're 75% of the same game.

Without being offensive, I think you should know the convertions to the SI (I'm not sure how you call it) because it's like what almost everyone in the world uses... But then again, maybe you just type another zero by mistake.

I think you're just trying too hard. Miis seem cool enough and I'm surprised how Sakurai made the entry with this attention to detail. For all the people saying they'll be OP, well, how can you even say that if no one has used them? Seriously.

@sinalefa I wish nowaday gamers weren't so close minded about different control schemes and/or about learning new ways to play. I loved the games you mentioned not just because they're fun but also because you have to learn how to play them, and once you do it, they're awesome (AND unique)

I still like MK 7 a little more than DD and 8 due to the course design, it was genius all over the place (rainbow road was epic).

But I've got to say that I felt MK Wii a little cheap, it was an ok game game with some sparks of good design like Coconut Mall. Oh and the collision mechanics were awful.

Jahir commented on Mario Kart Month: Nintendo Life's Team Shares ...:

I'm really enjoying it right now, it's such a beautiful and balanced game. My only complain would be the lack of battle arenas and... That's pretty much it - it's nearly perfect.

And I'd like to point out that those Retro guys who worked on some stages of MK7 are truly geniouses, their Rainbow Road is still better than the new one.

Jahir commented on Mario Kart Month: Mario Kart 8 Character Profi...:

I recall using Yoshi in the first games because I thought he was super fast. Now I mostly use Luigi, he's meant to be a middle weight but his karts are usually lighter and good for turning. Anyways, this was a fun read.

PS. Toad is OP!!

Jahir commented on Guide: Building the Perfect Team in Pokémon X...:

The articles you've posted are informative and they're really helpful. I enjoy battling in a competitive way although I still have a lot to learn and try.

BUT I seriously disagree with guides that tell people what moves, EVs and items they should use, I believe it kills the strategy factor that make this game so awesome.
