Quackshot! Darkwing Duck (i.e. MegaMan 5) NES would be pretty epic as well.
Reggie, please: Lufia & the, Body Harvest, TMNT 2: The Arcade Game, Bomberman 64, Star Fox 2, and always, Earthbound.
Lastly: Everyone is aware that MegaMan and MegaMan X Anniversary Collections exist, correct?!

Truly great news, waited 3 good months for this update! Without The Last Story or Xenoblade, my sanity receives a much needed boost with this classic. Considering these recent Wii RPG disappointments, I was kind of expecting NoA to tell me how flattered they were by my enthusiasm and excitement but, no, FFIII and Lufia II would not be released to the NA Virtual Console... If it weren't for damn Smash Bros., Nintendo, I'd totally break up with you!

@Traxx
No... stop typing, this rules.
Also, who wants to bet there will be exclusive characters for both the 3DS and Wii U that can ONLY be unlocked (on the other) in you have both editions and sync them together? Damn it, looks like I'll have to get a 3DS after all, curse my love for this ONE game!!!

Yeah, this anniversary collection sucked, price, booklet, any-other-argument aside. Now, c'mon Nintendo, teach us all a lesson for dissing you by releasing a truly worthy, collector's edition of The Legend of Zelda (LoZ, LoZ II, A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening). I'd pay $50 for that, but the booklet better be good...

@ pixelman: Exactly, ugh, c'mon May 2nd, answer my prayers. Also, for all Europeans, I would trade MegaMan X for FFIII (VI) in a heartbeat, only to pull out my X Anniversary Collection in supreme triumph! Go Nuggets!

Classic Controller Pro is one of the best, standard controllers ever (Thanks PS2)! Could care less about this announcement; not to mention it sounds like another Game & Watch DS-type thing that is impossible to get, unless you want to spend close to $1000 US just to earn enough points, and you better register that shiz before July, or else... expunge!

6 is perfect for this game, everyone calm down/shut up. I'm a huge fan of Bomberman, but definitely not this one! I like the multi-player aspect of Bombermans as much as the next guy, but the 1-player is always what separates these editions apart, for me. This game's solo campaign, compared to B64 and/or B64: Second Attack, sucks! I can only hope they release one of the two aforementioned games, but like Earthbound, I'll die of suffocation before that happens. 6, just above average, works, and, back in the day, I unlocked all the secret levels... so I know what I'm talking about!

@ That Guy
Thanks for the reply, I'm trying to map out which games to purchase to fill the remaining Wii memory with before I go SD, and this game came out of nowhere! Wonder why they decided to go sequel (After Years...) with IV rather than this one, guess the story was better suited and/or more open-ended?

@BrickRockwell
Totally an underrated feature of Nintendo's download service and a strong reason I bought a Wii too (that, and Brawl). Sure, we don't/won't get games likes Earthbound or Bomberman 64, beg as we might, but at least we don't have any wack loopholes to jump through like the 360 and/or P3 (ads, WTF!!?!) post-purchase. We also get comparable original titles too, perhaps not as gory or adult, but fun nonetheless (a concept lost on many owners of those systems)... Portista, you are a true fool!
