HeatBombastic commented on Mighty No. 9 Studio Comcept Facing Fan Backlas...:

I hate it when SJW's interfere with established entertainment media. I really hope she doesn't get access to design choices other than that BS gender swap mode, the female bot doesn't look anything like the original. (She stated on her Twitter she's also designing robots, implying more than just the gender swap)

I especially dislike how she got this job over someone who is far more qualified. Such as someone who values him or herself as a megaman fan over their political standpoint.

The worst thing of all is that, to my knowledge, she isn't doing her job. The whole point of community manager is to provide a bridge and represent both Comcept and the fans. I know for a fact that she does not represent the fans, and she certainly seems to not represent Comcept well at.

HeatBombastic commented on Poll: Would You Buy Grand Theft Auto V On Wii U?:

@Senario Opinions can be wrong. If I thought all blacks were evil, that'd be my opinion right? But that's clearly biased and proven to be incorrect; as there are many admirable blacks out there.

With freedom of speech comes freedom of criticism. It's completely fine if a game like GTA didn't add a female main character because of some unstated opinion. However, we have the right to ask why. That's an example of a hypothetical opinion, being challenged by another possible opinion-- GTA with a female playable character would be cool.

Opinions can be wrong.

@FineLerv While everyone is entitled to an opinion, with freedom of speech, comes freedom of criticism. Plenty of people think other opinions are wrong; like if I was an evolutionist, I'd think a creationist is wrong.

You're entitled to your own opinion, otherwise you couldn't make them. But there are times where you may be challenged with a stronger, more logical opinion.

Just watch that, and let Penn & Teller show you what. Be warned, if you hate swearing whatsoever, I don't suggest you watching this.

In the case you won't watch the video, I'll say something from it; violent video games itself don't make kids into killers. Violent video games are a regular household item for minors, while a few murderers have played GTA, so have millions of other kids.

@Kirk This is where I call you out some more Kirk. You just called the makers of GTA corrupt since they're personality wipes off into the game.

You know what's funny? GTA makes millions of people happy, professional reviewers say it's a good game, and it's fun. But GTA forces you to not be a good, fun, and happy type of player.

@Kirk Not necessarily. Ever heard the story about the teacher who bought his young 8-year old GTA? He used GTA as a driving simulator and taught him how to follow traffic lights.

And no, they didn't go around murdering random people aimlessly after driving practice.

@Kirk You say GTA is about everything "wrong" in today's society.

Then you say GTA is about everything you don't like in modern society.

Do you don't like it because it's wrong, or is it wrong because you don't like it?

I hope this counts as philosophy.

@iKhan IKhan, you're getting this all wrong. You not only shouldn't draw the line for others when it comes to fictional media, you can't. It's impossible and an unworthy cause of your time.

The gaming community knows the difference between reality and fiction. Which includes game developers. As we all know, the possibilities of murder you commit inside GTA are about as realistic as the cheesy action movies you see from hollywood.

Ethnics are individual, there's nothing you can do to change that.

Oh yeah, a game about a terrorist organization using nukes? That could be an educational experience to understand what it's like to be on the other side of the story. Or someone could use it as a miserable propaganda game to show you how horrible our enemies are; just to show you what the "right" thing is.

HeatBombastic commented on Club Nintendo Rewards Updated for September:

@GreatPlayer You're treating the virtual coin system like an actual currency.

You work to buy video games, buying the video games is not the work.

So there's no "earning" with the virtual coins.

What you're trying to say is that Nintendo should have better awards if they're gonna set up the coin system in the first place. It's only the logical thing to do. Tis what thou sayest? Correctomundo-est?
