Personally, I never got round to playing Wind Waker (shameful, I know) but I can't wait to play it on the Wii U. It looks like a really awesome game and I think it's gonna be great.

Gamercake commented on Talking Point: An Open Letter To Nintendo:
This guy just has to have PATIENCE. No console has ever had a great time only a few months after launch. Look at the PS3 and 360, in their first few months they struggled a whole lot more than the Wii U. And a better example is the 3DS; Nintendo turned what used to be laughing-stock into the best selling console right now and brought a whole bunch of high quality games. This is something that Sony can still not manage to do with the VITA. When the big games start rolling out soon, which they sure will, the Wii U will be flying off shelves like nobody's buisiness, and will be a console that is successful with a large, high quality library of games for years to come. Have faith in Nintendo.

Gamercake commented on Talking Point: The Download or Disc Dilemma:
If a game is available online and on disc, I always buy the disc version. The only reason is you can trade them in and buy second hand discs. Also, the prices are too high and for big games it takes a lot of time to download.

I don't get what the problem is. If there are many games this month, but a drought in the next, you can just play a game you didn't have time to play instead. In February there weren't any new games, so I bought something I didn't have time for in November. I also picked up Epic Mickey and PIKMIN, two games I didn't have time for when they were released back on the Wii. If anything, I'm not complaining if there are too many games to play.

I'm not worried about the poor sales. They will pick up soon with new, big games coming out.

He would've single-handedly brought the downfall of the video game industry. Good thing he quit.

Squeezed every penny out of gamers through micro-transactions etc. yet still get poor financial results.

When I saw the headline I almost had a heart-attack because I thought the Wii U version got delayed. (Wii U version out March 28)

Simply put, when the 'big' games start rolling out, the Wii U will sell in bucket-loads this Christmas. And titles like LEGO City Undercover and PIKMIN 3 will also make an impact to Wii U sales. Also, let's face it, a super powerful console with no games is pretty useless. The Wii U will have a massive library of high quality titles throughout its lifetime.
