OMG I had no idea the franchise was close to death!!! Wow that makes this game all the better!! I just picked it up yesterday after a 6 month break and it feels like I never stopped playing. I can't wait to beat it and start a new file from the beginning. The DLC is fantastic like you said and a huge reason I plowed through this one.

I am embarrassed to say that even though I am a massive fire emblem fan, I have never beaten one. I always balance my characters EXP too much and then they are all too weak by the end game. But now with the DLC and random encounters I can constantly build them up and get stronger. I wasn't afraid to let my main heroes do all the work in story missions because I knew that I could always bring the weaker ones up to snuff in side missions.

Ps how awesome are Second Seals?! I have re classed my avatar like three times to max out skill points. I finally chose a wife too haha there's just too many options!

Best Fire Emblem game ever! Best Turn Based Strategy too!
If only they could give us an advance wars this good next!!

I'm Mad :P
I don't want too much too fast but I think we can handle like 2 games a week on 3DS... I'm glad that the whole shelf layout has changed though. Kept me browsing for like 10 minutes. But I'll stick with the game I bought off DSi Ware I guess.

I wasn't going to buy this cause I actually still have the original cartridge. But I am SO glad that I did! The Restore Points make this game better than ever and I can't wait to get more VC games for the same reason! I'm blasting through the game cause of the Restore Points saving me so much time. It's fantastic! I also love that I can make a restore point and wander around and explore and if it's a dead end I just hit the restore point again or if I have half a heart left and no other options i'll do that as a safety net.

I am so pissed off...

Worst streak Wii VC has had in i can't remember. GIVE US SOMETHING WE WANT NINTENDO

Why is Japan and EU getting such great stuff when NA is forgotten? are we being punished for bad sales or something?

def a 10/10

been waiting for a game like this on Wii since um FOREVER finally a fantastic Wii Puzzle game that just needs a Wii-Mote, 4players and wi-fi are cool I wish it had online co-op but i can see how that'd be hard.

I hope they make sequels somehow

Best strategy game until we get a SuperFamicom Wars release (HOPEFULLY!!)

I really enjoy the game. And 2 player is pretty good, although I wish there were more maps. I really like that there is a set number of units, and I love how the factories work; It adds a lot to the strategy of the game. And it's something Advance Wars does not have.

Alright, I'm glad I listened to this review and downloaded it

...but I wish there was more control in battles. I wouldn't exactly call it a Turn-based game. The world is big and I enjoy walking around talking to people, buying items, fighting, etc..

Fire Emblem is a much better series but this can hold me a while until one of those games finally comes to Virtual Console.
