Faron commented on Round Table: Let's Talk About Super Mario:

I think they should do something more innovative with Mario. It's just a mascot now, a soulless symbol of the corporation. I want the old, more humane Mario back, with modern technology of course.

Faron commented on Super Smash Bros. Needs A 'Change of Direction':

Brawl is already almost a perfect game done with the old formula. Now they should make the game in 3d, in a way that you can freely move inside stages. For this purpose most of the stages should be bigger and act as playgrounds, a bit like in Super Mario 64.

Faron commented on Interview: Dave Cox - Castlevania: Mirror of Fate:

@Waveboy
They still have the same guy composing the score who did it in Lords of Shadow, so expect it to sound like a mishmash between Lord of the Rings and God of War, except less memorable. Basically generic fantasy movie backround music.

Faron commented on E3 2012: Wii U Pro Controller Offers More Options:

This controller looks perfect. All the complaining is once again beyond me, but maybe i should have expected it. After all, people have complained about every single controller Nintendo ever made made after SNES before testing 'em, including the GC one (which had the most easily breaking analog sticks after N64, and ridiculously small D-pad).

Faron commented on Rumour: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Heading...:

This was the worst Castlevania ever. Take epic music from Lords of the rings which have nothing to do with the haunting atmosphere of Castlevania series, and let it play nonstop from start to finish. That's distressing as hell, theres no real gaps in that ear rape. If i'm in the peacful enviroment, there shoud be music that pronounces the atmosphere of that place. But no, i constantly have a feeling like there were some uber epic battle going on even when nothing happens. That sucks!! And the fact that there is constant hand holding in this game, so you just basically follow what the game tolds you to do. Even the ledges you jump are flashing, as is everything that you can interact. This game treats it's players like they have no brain. NO REAL EXPLORATION. tHIS IS THE WORST INSULT OF THE SERIES. Here, let me demonstrate how music works in it's context... the final stairway before Dracula in Castlevania 64:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAfTZhaltZk

Faron commented on Rumour: Retro Studios Preparing Star Fox Wii U...:

They should reboot the whole series. Make it an open world shooter with space exploration. They should try something previously uncovered. Rail shooters are yesterday.
But seriously, i just want them to do the next 3d- Metroid.

Faron commented on Gearbox: Wii U Out-RAMs Xbox 360 and PS3:

"I think the machine itself will have one of the best looking versions of the game because they've got more RAM..."
One of the best looking versions? How many versions are there, like 10 or something? Seriously, if there's only 3 versions, that sentence does not mean anything.

@Nintendoftw
If the Wii-U is less powerful than PS3 and 360, i'm with you and skip the system, cause i'm tired of bad ports from 3rd parties. Anyways, it really doesn't matter if the Wii had bad specs, since it still had the best games in some genres: Xenoblade (RPG), Super Mario Galaxy (Platformer), Skyward Sword/ Twilight Princess (action adventurer), Mario Kart Wii (kart racer). I own the Ps3 and it just doesn't have anything which can compete in quality of the experience.

Faron commented on Developers: Wii U "Less Powerful than PS3 and ...:

This is just a made up rumor. But if it were true, i would not buy Wii-U. I don't need another console which is on par or worse than the PS3 i already have. A gimmicky controller or another Zelda game doesn't make up for it, unless they revolutionize these things somehow unimaginably.

Faron commented on Feature: Obscure Series That Should Return on ...:

They are most likely gonna bring F-Zero on the Wii-U, because it's HD. They didn't make it for Wii, because it wouldn't have done anything new. Thank god they didn't ruin it with motion controls... they are just not precise enough for a game like F-Zero.

Faron commented on Michael Pachter Suggests That Wii U Could Stru...:

Wii were supposed to lose to PS3 and 360. Ds were supposed to lose to psp. 3ds were supposed to get it's handed to it by psvita. And look what happened. Wouldn't it be more realistic at this point at last start to predict win to Nintendo consoles. Otherwise you're just stupid and making the same wrong assumptions every time a new generation is coming out.

Faron commented on Review: Metroid (3DS eShop / NES):

Metroid games should have more Tutorial, and something like Fi who would constantly explain you what to do and where to go. It's a waste of time for having to think the correct way to progress in the game. Just tell us everything. This is the future of video games. Also, some sort of Win button against enemies would be nice. And immortality, because dying in games is tedious.

Faron commented on Review: Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii):

^Agreed. This game doesn't beat only Zelda, but every other game i played this generation with my Wii or PS3. Nothing else comes even close (including games like SMG 2, Skyrim and Dark Souls). Xenoblade has a great story, likeable characters, the most largest and breathtaking vistas i've ever seen in single player game, the best soundtrack ever and great, deep gameplay. In short, it really has everything, while other games may lack something (like good story in the case of all the aforementioned games).

Faron commented on In Fire Emblem 3DS, Death Isn't Always Permanent:

First super guide and now this. What next, a win button? Seriously, the whole point of FE is trying to keep your group alive, and that alone creates the whole intensity of the game. Ok, it's optional to use the resurrection, but now that the option is there, why wouldn't i just use it? This is pathetic... who are they creating these nowadays? I would have beaten games like Fire Emblem when i was 7, like everyone would with determination.

For me, the timeline makes the series more interesting, especially now when we know that every game connects to each other. I'm glad that they finally released the official timeline, so the smartest of us can finally lay this debate to rest.

Faron commented on Rumour: Official Legend of Zelda Series Timeli...:

If this is true... Then it's true, and it's useless to continue this mind- numbing debate any further. It's almost the same timeline i've thought, based on the developers comments. The "Link Fails"- part is a surprise though. Also, i'm pretty sure that some of you will continue to defend your own imaginary timelines, even if Nintendo reveals the real one. That's pretty dumb.
