EnglishRob commented on EU VC Releases - 30th May - Samurai Shodown:
Two Neo Geo games in one week? That's pretty cool.
I loved Samurai Showdown when I had a Neo Geo a few years back. It was my first (and only) game for a long time so I played it to death!
I remember Burning Fight from the arcades too, I used to enjoy that game and it helped having a Memory Card so I could save my progress.
Looks like I'll have to get myself some points.

This has to be my favourite KOF game and possibly my favourite Neo Geo game too. I knew I should have saved my 900 points for this. Oh well.
I'm a bit disappointed to hear that it's only 50Hz though. I'm half tempted to get a cheap MVS kit off eBay and live with wires trialling all over the place.

I really do hope that when they release KOF '94 in Europe it runs at 60Hz.

At last! Neo Geo on the VC!
I was a bit disapointed that I missed the SMB2, but I'm happy that I still have 900 wii points to get FF.

EnglishRob commented on News explosion: Neo Geo and more!:
I was just thinking the other day about the Neo Geo releases. Hopefully we'll get them in Europe by Christmas. Never heard of World Showdown, sounds like a cross between World Heroes & Samurai Showdown.

Ahh, I thought there would be at least one or two Neo Geo games on the list. Still I guess there is maybe some hope for a EU release of a couple of Neo Geo titles. I'm holding off on spending any more VC points unti I see a line up of Neo Geo releases.

Great news, I can't wait to play some Neo Geo goodness. I'm certainly looking forward to Ninja Combat, League Bowling, Soccer Brawl, Robo Army, Sengoku... ahh the list goes on.

EnglishRob commented on Neo Geo coming to the Virtual Console:
I hope Nintendo Europe release the Neo Geo titles in UK/Europe.
Being a big Neo Geo fan this is the best news I have heard in ages. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy some of the older Neo Geo releases (League Bowling, Nam 1975, King Of The Monsters etc) as well as the newer Neo Geo titles.
