Thank god I preordered my Deluxe. It was a really close call, and I was becoming worried that I couldn't afford it.

Pff hahahaha. I don't think anyone's gonna get the Basic, unless they stuff something better into that bundle.

Maybe the people who can't afford $50 bucks more, but that's it.

My mom preordered the black Wii U from Gamestop today. Even though I would much prefer the white color, the extra features the premium one offers seals the deal for me.

It's a fine price, really. I never expected anything under $299.

You also have to take into account the stress on Nintendo's servers when the game comes out. It might turn out like Diablo 3 all over again.

By now I don't think we'll ever be seeing Earthbound on VC in any shape or form, because changing the soundtrack is something too drastic to do.

Perhaps eventually Nintendo will back out from the console industry and focus solely on handheld systems if this financial loss continues. Hopefully that won't be the case.

Once again, I am NOT surprised.

Nintendo is suffering because of it's public image of being a "kiddy game" and their competitors are starting to market towards the casual audience, stealing Nintendo's user base. I have a bad feeling the Wii U will not do much to solve this issue.

I'm paying a maximum of $350 USD. I'm thinking that's gonna be the price, too. If it's anything more then I'm out.

$350 is a little steep for a Nintendo console, honestly. I mean, part of the reason the Wii sold so well was because it was cheaper than competing consoles, and therefore more appealing to families on a budget...

$249-$299 would be really nice if it happened, though.

I feel as if something like this would be better off on the eShop. I definitely won't be purchasing this, seeing as I already have all 4 games on my Droid and I never really liked those games anyway. (except for Space. If they had Space in it then maybe I would have considered purchasing it.)
