@Ridley I thought you were talking about Other M since I was going by home consoles! XD

There's Metal Gear Solid on Game Boy Color.
#3
Electricmastro commented on Retro Chose Donkey Kong Over Metroid as Its Fi...:
@Ridley Or rather, they made 3, Retro didn't make Other M, so that mean why haven't had a new Metroid title from Retro in over 5 years for the sake of 3 Donkey Kong games in a row

@KaiserGX I think it's because Other M wasn't as strong as it could have been and at least wanted to do something about that, but oh well.

Aside from the updated effects, framerate, and controls, it doesn't seem to different for me to the point that i'll immediately buy it.

No more 2D or 2.5D games for now Nintendo. I wanted true 3D games like Sunshine.
#11
Electricmastro commented on Retro Chose Donkey Kong Over Metroid as Its Fi...:
@Ridley True, but Other M wasn't by Retro and though I think they could already have done that already with the 3DS game. I'd rather have them alternate between Donkey Kong, then Metroid and so on.
#12
Electricmastro commented on Retro Chose Donkey Kong Over Metroid as Its Fi...:
@TheN64Dude And why not choose Metroid since Other M wasn't as strong as it could have been?
#13
Electricmastro commented on Retro Chose Donkey Kong Over Metroid as Its Fi...:
Why? Why deem Donkey Kong as them having "unfinished business" since they just released the 3DS version and Metroid hasn't been updated at all since 2010? That is not logical to me.

Electricmastro commented on Shantae 3DS Virtual Console Release Date Creep...:
@tsm7 This article pointed out that Wii U Virtual Console releases aren't just dumped ROMs. Legal work is required along with the manuals that come along with the digital purchases, as well as changing the controls appropriately for its re-release on a current console, so I assume the same thing applies to the 3DS. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/05/talking_point_the_wii_u_virtual_console_has_started_but_not_with_a_bang

Electricmastro commented on Shantae 3DS Virtual Console Release Date Creep...:
Likely the very last major release the Game Boy/Game Boy Color era received, as late as 2002. I'm planning on getting this along with Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. It definitely seems like a must-play game in general. Once i'm finished with it, i'll buy the DSIWare sequel.

It's essentially a definitive DS in which it's like a combination of a regular DS and an iPhone. A largely customizable handheld in which you can also download games on, both old and new.

Cool, though i'm not hugely interested in a game like Harvest Moon. I just bought Wario Land: Shake It earlier this month and i'm saving for when the Zelda Oracle games release on May 30th.

The 2006 Wii launch line-up in retrospect isn't too much much to brag about either. I know it's ultimately about quality over quantity, but as hyped as Wii U VC was, you'd think that its line-up would be somewhat close to that. :/

This is what he said regarding his death:
"I know it is coming, and I do not fear it, because I believe there is nothing on the other side of death to fear. I hope to be spared as much pain as possible on the approach path. I was perfectly content before I was born, and I think of death as the same state. What I am grateful for is the gift of intelligence, and for life, love, wonder, and laughter. You can't say it wasn't interesting. My lifetime's memories are what I have brought home from the trip. I will require them for eternity no more than that little souvenir of the Eiffel Tower I brought home from Paris." - Roger Ebert, R.I.P.
