Looking forward to this. Been a while since I've had to pay a subscription to play, but if any game can make me do that, it is Dragon Quest. Just need to know about the Wii Version since I'll probably get that as it will be cross-play compatible with the Wii version.

Well, this makes even MORE sense when you realize they could sell Epic Mickey 2 to all 3DS owners that visit a theme park. They can buy the game and play it right then and there, while in Disney!

Well, when compared directly to Layton the game will suffer. I own the game (Gamestop exclusive in the US) and taken by itself, I would give it a high 7-low 8 rating. It's only $20, and you'll get several hours of fun out of your purchase.

The Tron segment looks great! I've bought and played all of them except Birth by Sleep (siting on my games drawer so I'll get there before this one releases), and I'm definitely buying this one as well.

Another game added to my "buy" list for eShop content in march. Need to work on my DS and DSiware backlog (and Steel Diver and Super Mario 3D Land) before I start buying eShop games.

Great news! Still have to finish the last couple of hours of Epic Mickey (work got in the way) so a sequel makes me very happy. Hope we also get a great CE as was the case with the first one.

@Hugo Smith: Thanks for the update! I really enjoyed Flipper and, once I do a full system transfer from my DSi to my 3DS by the end of the year (I'm buying a 32 SDHC card), I'll purchase Flipper 2!

We already knew it could stream to up to 4 tablet controllers so the change is only in Nintendo allowing 3rd party developers and their internal teams to work on games that DO ALLOW for two tablets or more. I'd pay $90 for an extra tablet controller for some crazy local co-op... or for Netflix streaming to TWO tablets so I can use that for when my godson and goddaughter are over, for example and I can game on a different console or watch something else while they each watch a movie on their controller.

@Ren: I got a phat at launch, switched to a Lite at launch and then a DSi at launch. Since I'll transfer my DSiware purchases to the 3DS and then transfer those to model 2 in 2 years... it all works out in the end!

Come on Nintendo, announce this for the US!

BS. Already own Machinarium and its fun but them announcing a Wiiware version and not realizing the freaking size limit has been there from the start AND "cancelIing" the game because of it is plain stupid. They knew how big their game was, they knew about the 40 MB AAAAAND 480p max display. They're just being elitist a$*h0!es about it.

What Aqueous said would be the ideal solution: "buy a new system, buy our $40 battery and you'll have 10+ hours of gaming from a single 4 hour charge".

The Circle pad add on would have been GREAT at $29.99 with an extra hour or two of battery life but instead it uses a single AA Battery which is odd in this day and age.

The 3DS release looks great as was the ase with OoT. I still think nintendo should release Starfox 2 on the Wii U VC since itS a finished produxt that us dans of the series should have a shot at.

The NES Sequel and the SNES game sit on my collection but I could never track down a copy of the original GB release. Now I know what my day 1 eShop Card will be used for!

@motang: But the PS3 doesn't include a game and that's a great value on every Wii SKU.

Another million consoles can be easily sold at that price and even if the attach rate would be in the 1-2 games per console sold...

Own part II and Demon's Crest but I never played the GB original. By the time I get my 3DS I will be able to just buy two $50 eShop Cards and no games and have a lot of fun for a several weeks.

SNES and the NES have the best libraries of all time which makes it harder to just go with game. Maybe it would be more fair to go with a "best game in each genre"? With that said and to answer the question... Final Fantasy III (VI) is the one for me.

@116: Sure, as a whole Sony has a lot more stuff going on but from a purely gaming point of view, Nintendo has a LOT of money to invest in their hardware and software while Sony has just turned a profit last year after how several years had passed since the release of the PSP and the PS3.

Nintendo won't be out of the hardware market anytime soon. Their IP are strong enough to carry around their hardware (wait until this holiday when Mario is on the 3DS) and the GC has shown us that even a "low" selling hardware can make them huge piles of cash.

Ask that question about Sony after all their loses from hardware (morr coming soon thanks to Vita!), the PSN hack and what happened at Lonron and you might have a point. Nintendo has a LOT of money in the bank and thr 3DS still has time tO bounce back. No need to go all Chicken Little...

@50: Nope, sorry, not convinced at all. I've spent $40 on my iPhone vs $2000 on my DS collection. Only reason I haven't bought a 3DS is because I want to cut down my portable backlog and since I've been very busy doing lots of reviews over at PS3Blog.net. Sure, $0.99 games are fun for a bit but they're not Ocarina of Time or a game that will keep me playing for more than a couple of minutes. I use my phone browser more than the games and so do many. Those that buy 6-10 dollar games are not he target of the DS or the 3DS. If "analyst" keep up with this nonsense BS we'll have a other Atari crash in our hands.

Mmm, I'm stuck between getting SFIV on 3DS when I buy one by the end of the year or getting SSFIV (with patch) on PS3. Will a 3DS version really be released? Oh, so many rumors!

After all the fun I've had with the DoDoGo series I'll be sure to buy this game as well as it falls into the same category.

I liked the last one that released on the DS (the wife loved it) so I'll eventually be adding this to my collection.

Yep, I got a Limited Edition Red Wii for the living room so now I've got that an my launch white Wii.

It's weird how 240k sold in a month is "the Wii is doomed" but 360 selling 270k a month is "Microsoft is winning this console war!".
