It's weird, I guess I am more willing to play a game that I bought with my own money than one that was pirated.

I really wanted to get this game for the 3DS but since it doesn't come with the object editor, I will have to go with the PC version.

This weekend I'll be playing Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. Never before have I played such an addicting game.

This entire E3 was horrible, in my opinion. Only some new gameplay of Hitman Absolution and the reveal of Scribblenauts Unlimited got me exited. Everything else was stuff I already knew or did not care about.

Yes! This is the only reason I even bought a 3DS. The Wii U version was a hit of a surprise, but I'll stick with the 3DS version (this game just feels more like a handheld game imo). I wonder what the pre-order bonus will be this time?

Hitman Absolution, Scribblenauts Unlimited, Code of Princess, and Castlevania Mirror of Fate are all coming out at around the same time! My wallet better prepare to take a big hit during the 2nd half of the year.

Well, it's another 2D Mario game so I shouldn't complain, but I'm pretty sure I could beat this game on my first run while blindfolded.

I'm really looking forward to this. I can't wait to help pedestrians and better the community in a video game... sarcasm aside this game actually does have me interested. Any free roam game on a handheld is usually an instant buy for me.

@warioswoods Yeah I didn't really like that style of animation either. However you have to admit that the backgrounds of the stages were amazing.

The fact that it's being made by NetherRealm Studios has me interested. I really liked Mortal Kombat (2011), although I'm a little curious about how this game will play. Judging from the trailer, this won't be your typical fighter. As for the story, let's just hope it will be better than the MK vs DC Universe story.

Well as long as it's like SOTN then I'm okay with it (leveling up, backtracking, etc.). Although I am disappointed that the only weapon that will be available seems to be the whip. As much as I like using a whip in Castlevania games, I prefer swords. Oh well, I should complain, they are at least making another 2D(-ish) Castlevania game.

@Volmun Yep, I thought the same thing. Not that there is anything wrong with that type of gameplay, it just did not feel like a Castlevania game.

Well since it is a handheld it will most likely be 2D. Also, I'm hoping Leon Belmont will be in this one, but I think Konami already forgot that character exists.

Yeah he's right I mean people are going to have high expectations for the Wii U since it is a "next generation" console. It will be impossible for it to be on par with the PS4 and Xbox 720, but it's gonna have to look a lot better than the Wii.

P.S. Although, I do agree that this was not the best person to come out and say this.

The Wii U line up is not looking too good, with the exceptions of some games. But then again, this is just speculation, so I'm pretty sure it will be better than this.

@Adam If that were to happen then fighting games would be a joke and incredibly boring. Not saying that SSB is not fun, but there is a difference between fighters and brawlers.

Well I hardly use 3D on my 3DS. I only use it on cutscenes, win poses for fighting games, and 2D games (3D looks amazing on Mutant Mudds).

But is this really an issue? So far, from what I have seen, 3rd party developers use it very well. Some even used it a bit too well (RE: Revelations).

Well at least the digital copies will be the same price as retail and not overpriced like some other games on the eShop.

@FluffyNinja People just don't want to pay $40 or $60 for a new game. I can't believe people were actually expecting the digital versions to be cheaper.

@spamineggs That's a really cool idea. That way you can actually play the game in the dark. I gotta do that if I buy the game used.

Rayman 1 is still one of my favorite games. I really hope this gets released in America because the DSIware version looks super easy compared to the PS1 version.

I just want Simon Belmont in this game, but I doubt that will happen. I also hope they include some sort of Pushmo, Mighty Switch Force, or Mutant Mudds-themed levels in this game...though I doubt that will happen.

Never played this game, but more Castlevania is always a good thing. This will at least be more of a Castlevania game than Lords of Shadow (good game, but not a true Castlevania game).

@Linkstrikesback Yeah, not doing sales is one reason why I have not purchased anything from the eShop (sorry, but that coin system just doesn't cut it). It would be really cool if Nintendo could do a weekly sale thing like PSN does, then maybe even some of that shovelware could get purchased.

I don't think they should have even tried to get this on Wiiware. It would have been better to release it on Xbox 360 or PS3. There it would get the respect it deserves.

A 2D Super Mario Bros. Game on the Wii U? I can't see how this could take advantage of all the Wii U's features. I guess we will find out in June...

Glad to see that they chose 2D graphics over 3D graphics. Besides is it really that important to have 3D graphics in a strategy RPG?

Interesting characters. All they need to do is add Siegfried, Pac-Man, Felicia, Strider Hiryu, Sonic, and Bayonetta (would be cool to see Dante and Bayonetta in the same game) and this would be day one buy for me (if it gets a Western release).

I know Capcom hasn't necessarily been making smart decisions lately, but you guys need to realize that the Wii U is completely different than the PS3, Xbox 360, and the PC. It's going to take some time before they can make this game Wii U compatible.

Mario may be the king of platforming, but Rayman 1 will always be the greatest platformer to me.

Getting on topic, I completely agree with Alienfish. They definitely need to make another Mario game inspired by Super Mario World. That game had a crazy amount of secrets and it would be amazing if they made another game like that.

Also, I'm glad to see Nintendo has found a good balance of 2D and 3D Mario games. Even though I prefer 2D platforming, it is nice to play the genre in different perspectives.

Sounds interesting, but I think I will keep waiting until they announce Etrian Odyssey IV in North America.

All I want is better face buttons and a better d-pad. I mean come on Nintendo, the original DS, which is 7-8 years old now, had better face buttons and a better d-pad than the 3DS which is supposed to be superior.
(This is mainly just a concern when playing Virtual Console games or original DS games.)

Never much cared for freemium games. I believe they belong on the computer and should have nothing to do with consoles.

I was one of the lucky ones. I bought my 3DS on eBay in October for $145 with everything and Super Street Fighter IV. And one day I was just looking at things I downloaded and found out that my 3DS was an ambassador. So I got a 3DS, SSF4, and 20 free games all under retail price ($170), so I don't think I have the right to complain about anything.

@Eureka Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Not that I'm complaining or anything , but that "Offering" mode does seem kinda pointless. Maybe you get some sort of "legendary" weapon if offer a certain amount of hearts.

@NassaDame Same here. My first Resident Evil game was RE4, yet my favorite was RE1. However, I don't mind what direction RE goes in, as long as they make a good game then I'll buy it.

@all Besides it is not like the Wii U will fail. If Apple can sell pricey tablets, then I'm pretty sure Nintendo can do it as well.

A lot of people are saying that the quality of Japanese games has been decreasing, but I think they still make some of the greatest games out there. Just because most Japanese games don't sell as much as popular Western games (Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, etc.) does not mean their quality has lowered. I just hope Japan doesn't keep all the good games (Monster Hunter Tri, Etrian Odyssey 4) to themselves.
