I played 2 Cups of this yesterday. I never needed to brake, it's all in the drift timing. I was always very good at Mario Kart anyway, it IS one of my favorite franchises after all.
@Reusinck Braking ISN'T necessary, I did the Shell Cup and the Flower Cup and had no problems.

@Luneth There's a reason why lots of people regard the DS Phat as their favorite. One of the reasons including extreme durability. And those commercials are done right, they make you want to buy it. And those constant grey skies in the ads are wonderful.

@Monado_III Maybe Nintendo doesn't get any money from eBay. Fine. But it's still illegal and it's still against the law. Watch gameplay videos to determine if you want it or not, it's better than theivery. Also, I think I remember Gamestop selling Xenoblade C for $50-$60 used or something like that. Also, the way you say "which I pirated", makes you sound even more like a criminal. Oh, and you do realize Xenoblade Chronicles 3D came out. You can get the same game legally, and portable. You can give me more info that could defend your case, but currently, I see your argument as invalid.

@Quorthon But you forgot something. All those reveals were at E3, if Nintendo doesn't show off the NX at E3 2015, and only gives a little info instead, and actually reveals it at E3 2016, it is near guaranteed it will launch 2017 instead. MY guess is that they give a little info about it at E3 2015, show off a prototype with some tech demos at E3 2016, and reveal the final console with some games in development at E3 2017, and I suspect that's the most likely. I suspect.

Well, the GameCube's prime was around 2003-2004 which started 2 years from launch. I would predict that the Wii U's prime would be around 2014-2015. Again, 2 years from launch. If you're wondering why I say prime, it's because of the catalog of many great games for the GC and Wii U expanded/will expand for lots of anticipated titles around that time frame, most units sold, most advertising, and stuff. But some games for the GameCube around it's prime include, Pikmin 2, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, F-Zero GX, along with others. Likewise for the Wii U, Mario Kart 8, Splatoon, Star Fox, Smash Bros, and such. Given how things played in the past, it is highly likely the NX will release late 2017. Keep in mind that the Wii U launched only 3 years ago. Most likely, we still have 2 years left, not to mention things such as DLC, potential hardware bundles, new and anticipated games and the like that will give the Wii U the final push in it's life. (Again, most likely anyway.) Remember guys, we still don't know what Project Guard and Project Giant Robot is, I think it would be smart to look for them at E3. It COULD be a hit, we don't know, it COULD save the Wii U singlehandedly, we don't know. But always remember that we're dealing with Nintendo here, they're always unpredictable.

...I rest my case.
@ShadJV All in my opinion, but who do you think they are? They're NINTENDO, not Microsoft, not Sony, they're not SUPPOSED to change with the "times". Don't you see something in common with all their systems? They're still practically NESs, but with new games, new hardware, new graphics, and new innovation that the world has never seen before. Being CONSTANTLY connected to the internet, DLC, and microtransactions, are the things that Nintendo has not come up with and instead follow OTHER examples. DLC and microtransactions are not new things, they're NOT innovation. I know this is just a ramble, but I have a point. And I know, eventually, that this won't end well in the long run. Watch.

I pray to god that people do not make levels of a picture of a certain male private. Hopefully, Nintendo security or whatever will take that down immediately if it ever does happen. That's something to be worried about.

I've got it. They've already implemented voice controls, touch controls,
enhanced button controls, and motion controls, so what's next? As far as I see it there are 2 options. Virtual Reality, (which I hope they don't do), and none other than Artificial Intelligence. Now, I don't know how it's going to work, but it's probably going to be most likely. But think about it, a sort of combination of Siri and Jibo with an actual computer to talk to and send things to your friends with. For those who say it's not possible yet, many said the DS was not possible in 2004, many said the Wii was not possible in 2006, and the New 3DS certainly "wasn't" possible in 2014 with face-tracking 3D, automatic lighting to adjust to the current lighting, and certainly nobody expected Z buttons and a c-stick all in one fell swoop. Yeah, too much evidence, it's likely going to be something very computerized and heavily connected to the internet, with A.I. probably.

For those who don't know what Jibo is, knock yourselves out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3N1Q8oFpX1Y

@C-Olimar If they somehow pulled off a theme with the music and floating cube, I would likely kiss a mouse from happiness. Gamecube should have been added instead of the Dreamcast. Also, an N64 theme would be welcomed too. Oh and I second that on buying it not in a heartbeat, but in an eyeblink! An eyeblink I say! Hoo! (AC FTW)

@Artwark The sales are fine, it's not about the sales. They just didn't have the Nintendo magic present, they disconnected from their core fanbase, the Wii was a big fat middle finger for anyone who was with them before, and they weren't different from Sony and Microsoft. If you need confirmation on that last statement, I'll let Mark give you it. Skip to 5:00.

Sales don't matter, the approach does.

@HyperSonicEXE Huh, that reminds me of:

But don't get me wrong, the game was good.

I would have loved it if they didn't use motion controls and reworked Metroid Prime 3.
Untitled
That's the Wii's core demographic, I'll let you decide what you think.
Like I said, Nintendo has been going downhill since 2006, and they haven't been as catering to the people that joined them in the past. Despite this however, this is still entirely opinionated, but I do think there are a lot of people who agree with me. I still think the early 2000's were the best.
