Does anyone else know the "minor" differences between old and new version of the game besides the layout of the levels? The review mentioned minor differences but didn't say what they were.

Has anyone played the 3DS version? Is it rough on the circle pad? I've been playing OlliOlli 2 on the Vita and it seems like im pushing on the anolog stick alot and it's much stronger than the circle pad on the 3DS.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who would like to see Donkey Kong 64 rereleased in some form or another, especially on a handheld. It's my favorite game of all time and also my first console game when I got the special clear green DK N64 bundle. Made platformers my genre of choice.

might get kid icarus uprising. It's almost impossible to find anywhere (in the US) for a decent price. The prices on amazon are over 40 for used and 80 for new. Out of stock everywhere else except used at gamestop which would be 38 bucks. I don't know why its so expensive, this might be my best option, although I'd rather have the cartridge.

dok5555555 commented on Review: Shiny The Firefly (Wii U eShop):

$7 to $10 is a steep asking price? Seems like every game I see on PSN or XBLA is at least $15 nowadays. $7 seems relativly good to me. Of course I haven't played the game but judging by the review it's not terrible, so $7 isn't so bad.

It's kind of weird that the Xl is the one with the glossy finish and the small one isn't since the original 3ds was glossy and the original xl wasn't. Maybe it has something to do with the interchangable faceplates on the smaller one. And why would Super Smash Bros. need a second analog stick?

dok5555555 commented on Review: My Jurassic Farm (Wii U eShop):

@kingc8 yea Dino Crisis seems cool and DC2. I just bought both PS1 classics on Vita when Sony had the $1 Flash Sale. I've only tried a little of both but they're pretty cool so far besides the odd control scheme. It's basically like the original Resident Evil's but with dinosaurs.

Really cool, she's great. Didn't know about her till now so thanks NintendoLife. It's really cool that she's doing what she loves to do and making people happy. Video games in general have some of the best music so it's definetly cool she's doing a lot of video game stuff.

Tropical Freeze is definitly one of my favorite games. Platformers are my favorite and DK 64 is my favorite game of all time. But this is definitly one of the best DK games, the gameplay is very good and smooth. I have to agree with the rest of the list too I have most of these games, they're all great. MK8 is already one of my go to games just a week after its release.

I still don't understand why Nintendo doesn't give you the option to automatically start a disc based game on startup. The Wii didn't either. If I'm only turning on the system to play the game in the disc tray then why do I have to wait for the menu screen to load just so I can click on the game's icon and load the game up?

It used to be really funny collecting Pokemon cards in the 90s. I'm glad kids these days have that oppurtunity. It's always cool to have a collectible "physical" item. These look pretty cool too. I like the 3D popping out look (maybe its to match the 3DS?)

Why can't the Wii U (or Wii for that matter) boot up a disc automatically without having to load the main menu screen first? All other consoles give u the option to just open the disc based game automatically when you turn on ur system. Never understood why Nintendo changed this with the Wii.

For those that have played Wii Party U, can you tell me if it's any good for solo play? I know the focus is multiplayer but is it worth it for mostly just solo? Also is it worth it over Zelda WW HD if I've already played and beatin the Gamecube version? (I have the other two games already in North America.)

dok5555555 commented on Latest Assassin's Creed Announcement Continues...:

So what generation is the Wii U considered then? I mean I know it's not as graphically powered as PS4 or X1 but it is technically part of this "next" generation. The Wii wasn't even in HD when PS3 and X360 were, yet no one had any problem including them in the same generation. Just dosen't make sense to me. Regardless of hardware specs, the Wii U is part of the "next gen" consoles whether people like it or not.

dok5555555 commented on The Next Batman Game Is Arkham Knight, And No,...:

This is a real bummer, I don't have a PS4 or X1 or a PC powerful enough. I have a 360 but its not on that either. They should make a Wii U version. It's my next gen platform of choice but it seems like developers are shunning it because its getting all this undeserved hate. I know there's a business issue (they may feel it won't sell well), but I mean the Wii U can't succeed if 3rd parties won't give it a chance and put out some games for it. It's not getting support becuase its not selling as well, but its not selling as well becuase it's not getting support. I love my Wii U, has aswome games, who cares if it's not as powerful, I mean either was the N64, or Gamecube but those were fantastic consoles with great games, so is Wii U. It deserves better treatment.
