I'm a Junior at the good ole University of Illinois. I'm a pre-med student with a major in religion (a concept that is hard to understand to most people, for some reason) and I also play vidyas. It's good yo.

@rjejr Haha, no worries. I agree, considering that this has Miiverse stamps and decent graphics (heck of a lot better than that Zegeta one, anyway), I could see them getting away with this. Still, hopefully it's $1.99 max. I haven't regained the innocence I lost when I saw that Zegeta was 5 dollars.

Discipledoctor commented on Talking Point: The amiibo Range Grows, Yet Key...:

I'm perfectly fine wit the one amiibo save data thing, it's NFC and can't store much. For me, what makes or breaks it is if they allow you to back up your save data. Just make an amiibo app where you can register your figures and save/load data. If they don't do that and your data is destroyed each time you want to use the figure in a different game that writes to it...then I really will wonder what's going on at Nintendo HQ.

Discipledoctor commented on Review: Flapp & Zegeta (Wii U eShop):

I'm cool with Spikey Walls because it's an App Store game at an App Store price. And it pretty much perfectly mimics Flappy Bird, as far as I'm concerned. This is just trash, however. $5 for a crappy game that speeds up incredibly fast...not interested, never will be. Even The Letter was only $2, and at least that had 3-D models instead of crappy 2-D "art"!

Discipledoctor commented on "The Sky Is The Limit" For amiibo, As Nintendo...:

Consider how indies often have characters from other games in them, I wouldn't be surprised to see it work in this way: Buy a, say, Commander Video amiibo and then scan him into other games. Although now that I think about it, that would really only be beneficial to the company whose amiibo you bought...

Discipledoctor commented on New Nintendo Direct Airing 5th November:

Anyway, my hype thrusters have activated. Hopefully we see HW/MK8 DLC, new Captain Toad, Mario Maker, and Mario vs DK news, N64 VC news, and something special. Heck, I'm just happy to see Father Iwata again!

Discipledoctor commented on Feature: Breaking Down Over 50 Must-See Things...:

I'm really feeling that Event Mode. It's awesome how seemingly every Event has its own reward and some have hidden paths. And of course, CHALLENGES!! I hope that there's seperate boards, but there's currently more than what Brawl had so it's not bad at all.

Discipledoctor commented on From the Forum: To Buy or Not to Buy? SPIKEY W...:

I enjoyed Blok Drop U and likely will pick up the developer's other titles, including this. My opinion may be invalid since I bought The Letter for the laughs (and laugh I did) but I'm pretty serious about supporting indies...especially when I can buy all of his games on Wii U for the price of a double cheeseburger.

Discipledoctor commented on Nintendo Download: 28th August (North America):

It's been a long time, nearly four years...and the crossover finally comes out tomorrow. It was announced before I started college and now I'm a senior, yet no less excited for it. COME ON LAYTON AND WRIGHT!!!

Also, Azure Striker is likely going to be a day-one and I'll look at the discounts as well. Super Acorns 3D is pretty good for anyone who's wondering.

Discipledoctor commented on Review: Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge (Wii U ...:

Now wait a minute. The review states that there is no interaction in battle, but that's not quite true. There are two "slot-in" chips mapped to L and R that you can activate mid-battle when you feel that they're necessary, bringing a new layer of strategy. Should you pack a healing chip, or maybe a strong attack?

It's not much, but it can't be totally forgotten.

Discipledoctor commented on Nintendo Download: 31st July (North America):

Well, I can finally shut up because the greatest series in the world has finally landed on Wii U.

My bet for the August games are MM 5, 6, 7, and X3. Maybe Zero or Battle Chip Challenge.

Gotta haul drywall with my grandpa and then it's time once again. What a glorious day.

Discipledoctor commented on Nintendo Download: 24th July (North America):

Man, NA VC...I thought for sure that it was picking up in April, but boy was I wrong. Can't wait for Battle Network next week, though!

I'm still wanting Game and Watch Collection 3, DKL 1-3, Pokemon TCG and others for 3DS. Nintendo is sitting on so much cash!

Discipledoctor commented on Nintendo Download: 24th July (Europe):

Here's the week that I hope someone recognizes me and my calls for Battle Network on the VC. Best game ever, I will be caught in so much innocent nostalgia of the good days.

But I live in the U.S. This week Capcom...pls.
