The control scheme/reasons for wiimote only is basically the only thing I am worried about for Other M. I did read some previews that said that the combat is brilliant (eurogamer I think), but because its in 3D space and using D-Pad, I expect to do a lot of tapping.
A person on neogaf said that the game was first going to be in 2D, and Wiimote only, but Team Ninja fought Sakamoto for it to be 3D, which he gave in to, but he didn't budge when they asked for it to controlled with a nunchuck. So that confirms it guys.

While I agree that some of the design choices for this game are questionable, don't downplay Sakamoto.
And I think hes producing this one, while some one else is directing. The last game he did was Rhythm Heaven, and it was actually pretty brilliant.
And yes, the Prime trilogy is fantastic, one of the best, but I am still looking forward to this one, even if it is disappointing.

Thats because they put basically no effort into the presentation. The game, honestly, looks very basic. It looks better than the DS version sure, but really, no effort into the presentation. We just got NSMB DS a couple years ago too, so it really didn't blow anyone away with its style. The main focus of the game was multiplayer too, which was really fantastic. We can't really experience the multiplayer by watching people play. Basically, watching the game is very boring, and leaves you unimpressed.
Now with DKCR, the game visually looks fantastic, with many different details and what not. We didn't get a DKC game in more than a decade, so it brings in a lot of nostalgia and what not. The game really is a joy to watch, with great animation and such. They really put a lot of effort into the presentation, and it shows.
I will probably end up liking DKCR more than NSMB Wii, since DKC2>all other Mario platformers (sans Yoshis Island <3). NSMB to me, had great level design and was one of the best games to play with friends, but it was way too safe.

Why is everyone thinking this should be on 3DS? Is it because its in 2D...?

Game looks amazing, classic controller support would be great, but Im fine with the regular Wii remote.
So you move with the nunchuck and just press A to jump right? Theres no run button, and you shake to do the spin attack?

LKS is amazing. Got it last week and already played for 17 hours. Yes it is that addicting. I have 3 princesses so far, and the pinball king was one of my favourite boss fights in this generation. Took a good hour to beat!

I read the review after i posted. I meant thr title leads it to be bad, i mean battle poker is pretty horrible.

Not a surprising score, even by the name i could tell it would be bad. Is this their first game? Surprising its a minigame collection and not 1 game by itself.

I ordered the game.
Love punchout, and this fight better be freakin hard. Don't want to beat it in 5 minutes.
The hat looks cool, but if i got it in the mail il probably be like "awesome" and stare at it for a minute then throw it in the closet.

Not interested in game because im not much of a fan of getting the high score. Like different Bit graphics though, gameplay seems dissappointing.

I loved this game. I would give it a 9, granted there are problems.

Hm i might get this for my ipod Touch.
Just downloaded Peggle, iDracula and Doodle Jump, so far all fantastic.
And for people with iphones or ipod touches, Peggle is only 99 cents, went down from 5 dollars. What a steal though seriously. I think price is only 99 cents for couple more days, so instead of buying that chocolate bar, get Peggle.

On another note, it seems as if Nintendo Power reviewed The Conduit and gave it a score of 6.5. It might be fake or real though. Someone scanned it over at gamespot.

Uhh... There is multiplayer like you said.
But there is no boss characters to play as. Mac Vs. Mac.
And the occasional Giga Mac.

And i love this commercial, best Nintendo one since Smash Bros. Probably my favourite game commercial actual.

I don't see there being hardcore games, but hardcore gamers.
People see "hardcore" games as totally different things.
Some think hardcore needs blood, some think difficulty and others think depth.
I don't know, and i don't care. I just play all types of games, whether they are kiddy or bloody.

Campaign was good, better then COD5s.
But my favourite mission was the sniper one, when your basically just sniping the whole time and stealthy .
I liked the last mission, but like the 3 before it were pretty boring.
And the son one was ok, the one where your a satelite thing was awesome.

Well it still is my favourite mindless shooter on 360.
And i beat CoD4, 2 times. Once on regular, then on veteran. I don't know which part your talking about but whatever.
And im still amazing at the COD4 multiplayer

I hope so, because Bit Trip Beat was so fresh and unique, and if they just add some more songs and different pong balls, it will not feel as fresh. Il buy it either way though!
