Doma commented on Nintendo Confirms The Mario Kart 8 Premium Pac...:
Simply isn’t worth it once you realise that Nintendo revealed the entire future library of this console during last year's January Direct. No price above £120 (maybe a bit higher for this bundle) would justify the investment for such a paltry number of releases.
Doma commented on Talking Point: Nintendo Must Take Careful Step...:
@aaronsullivan I don't want to be argumentative with you but why are you bringing up XB1 and PS4?
Obvious fanboy who can't be taken seriously.
@outburst I think it's been established that Nintendo has lowered the price in NA only, while blatantly ripping off everybody else. Just ignore this game.
I haven't touched a single piece of DLC (or any paid downloads) from Nintendo because of how overpriced and inferior their service is. That won't be changing any time soon.
Doma commented on Nintendo Confirms Mario Golf: World Tour DLC, ...:
@Yorumi There's nothing ironic about the inferiority of Nintendo's set-up compared to how their competition has been doing it for many years.
I don't bother comparing physical to download games. I'll always prefer the latter where the option is a viable alternative. However, when they're overpriced (their games cost more than they do physically, here in the UK) and hardware locked on Nintendo systems, it squanders any advantage they may have over physical copies. The eShop is a very poor excuse of a download store.
@KennyPowers I know what he was referring to, but it doesn't matter. The example still matches his quote.
Meh, call me whenever Nintendo decide to stop being morons and provide us with proper accounts. Their download platform can't be taken seriously until then.
Enjoy your milking, fanboys!
@WiiULoveGBA Also with that particular quote - "And one thing Nintendo has determined as a company policy, what we are not going to do is create a full game and then say, ‘let's hold this back for DLC.' That's not our plan.”
The game itself was held back for a year, in-order to implement some cash grab DLC for it. So actually, it's the perfect example.
Lol... I was berated by some angry fanboy before, for suggesting this would happen.
Devalued confirmed. No buy.
@WiiULoveGBA It's called PR. Do you honestly think any company ever have said the opposite?
Doma commented on Poll: Have Your Say on Nintendo Direct Bonanza...:
This is why i hate Nintendo Direct.
The Sakurai Direct has been the only one worth watching since their inception, to me.There's so much negligible/boring info given in the usual Directs, that it would be better given as standard press announcements (which should be regular, instead of keeping people in the dark constantly).
Nintendo Direct should be scrapped. I usually just wait for the round-ups anyway because i can't stand watching anything hosted by Iwata or Reggie.

Those WiiU and 3DS sales are magnificent considering there were no games released in March!
Doma commented on Forgotten Classics: Resident Evil Code: Veronica:
It's on the 360 as well, people. What other platforms was there to port it, at the time?
Doma commented on Vita Overtakes 3DS in Tough Week for Japanese ...:
The same goes for you as it does for the others, please knock it off. Keep your comments focused on the article at hand and not on your fellow users. We won't ask again — TBD
@wombatkidd Why would you explicitly state the 'largeness' or 'great extent' of something, if not to suggest it was the majority aspect? You just rendered your whole statement pointless. Well done.
@wombatkidd The PS2 still received WAY more third party titles (non-shovelware) than the GC or Xbox. So comparing its support to the Wii's influx of garbage is quite silly of you.
Also, to that last question: How about every GTA game (and plenty of EA stuff from what i remember).
@Windy I think people are mistaken in believing Tomadachi LIFE will have a long lifespan. Its novelty is very likely to wear off quickly, just like the majority of pointless life sims.
MH4 isn't coming until 2015, btw.
Doma commented on Microsoft's Ken Lobb: Metroid Prime Wouldn't H...:
@Dyltheman DKC TF is a terrible example, as it's a direct outcome of Nintendo appealing to the exact same fans as the previous DKC game/s. There's nothing fresh or creative about it.
@minotaurgamer You should know that 'fanboys' are cultists who love and praise Nintendo, no matter what. Any disregard to the WiiU being a perfect system will initiate anger within these folk, you see many examples of such behaviour on this website... They can't be the ones responsible for “hating on the atrocious Wii U”, lol.

Putting Pokemon's crappy graphics to shame, as usual.
Doma commented on Nintendo Titles Struggle for a Presence in UK ...:
@Sentinator "neglected tonnes of their low sellers"
….Sounds just like Nintendo in their current form.
@Excep7ional Within the coming years, i think Nintendo will gradually edge themselves for departure of the console market (it's likely what this 'QoL' stuff entails). Sadly, i don't think this will lead them into making games for Sony... They'll probably stick with handhelds for another gen, but other than that, nada.
Nintendo's relevancy in gaming is set for death, thanks to Iwata's 'we are unable to compete/meet today's standards' mentality.
@element187 Heh, i actually wouldn't mind that. While Nintendo's handheld is good, it's also crippled due to region locking and horrible software prices. I'd have rather imported one, tbh.
Nobody would miss their home consoles, they're too inferior.

I don't think i'll ever understand the desire of people trying to imagine/re-enact their own life via a videogame.. it honestly disturbs me (unless you're a child).
This is possibly the most stupid and unhealthy genre in gaming.
Doma commented on Rumour: Mario Golf: World Tour To Offer Additi...:
@LunaticPandora Any rational person will notice that it's too soon to be promoting 'additional paid courses' when the game has yet to be released. I already doubt the base game will be worth its £30+ retail price tag (i'm guessing it will match your description of MK7...). So yes, advertising this to me now has devalued it.
The best way to devalue your game before it even releases. Well done, Nintendo.
Doma commented on Nintendo Is Working On The Next Mario Game, Bu...:
I'm proud of the fact i haven't bought a Mario related game since 2011 (Smash Bros. will end this period, but that has everything to do with it containing other IP). I'm doing my part, but it seems the majority of Nintendo's fanbase enjoy playing the same crap over and over...

@2Sang You needed a full stop after 'Wii U'.
LOL at those desperate WiiU owners who prayed for a delayed 3DS release.

Good thing it's just Smash related, btw. Screw Mario Kart!
Doma commented on Features: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2014 - Spri...:
@rjejr Advance Wars and Metroid on 3DS will need to come before Nintendo can start to think about retiring it. Ignoring those franchise will severely lower the chance of me buying their next region-locked, account-less system.
I'm hoping they finally decide to release SMT4 this year, at some point. That and Smash are the only games left to be interested in. The rest is junk.
@Datasun_7 Another reason why they need to hurry up and kill off the WiiU already. Nintendo should be prioritising the only system making them money.
@Peach64 That wouldn’t work out for them as intended, it'd only piss off the majority of potential buyers. Anyway, the 3DS line-up is too barren to allow them to.
Doma commented on EA Boss Peter Moore Apologises For Frostbite's...:
@Diddy_kong Nintendo likes to believe their target for the console was/is 'everybody'. It's pretty funny that you consider the abysmal sales so far, to be “doing it's job”.
Doma commented on Report Suggests That June Could Be Crucial For...:
@GalacticMario28 “Nintendo has made it clear that they are changing up their business strategies in response to their current situation”
Not really. We all expected some big change to be announced during that January meeting, but what became of it? We instead hear about how he's sticking with the current failed WiiU plan, while trying to divert people's attention to a completely vague/pipe-dream strategy involving QoL.
@somari Stating facts makes me a WiiU hater? Lol, the 3DS and Sony/MS hold no significance to what i said (if anything, they make the WiiU's failure look even worse). There's obviously no point in discussing anything with you further.
@somari Gamecube was profitable. What do you think was mainly responsible for the three successive years of losses they just faced (and will continue to)?
@Shy_Guy Killing the WiiU would be beneficial to Nintendo, atm.
Nintendo are in for a long and painful demise unless they manage to get rid of this fool and his sidekicks. They need managers who aren't so senile and afraid of change/competition, to be at the helm instead. The company needs to be brought into 2014.
Doma commented on Exclusive: Nintendo Developing "Virtual U" VR ...:
Nintendo positioning themselves to actually compete with other company?
Lol, that was enough to discredit this immediately. Iwata fears competition.
Doma commented on Nintendo Download: 3rd April (Europe):
@LUIGITORNADO "Metroid Fusion is better than most PS1 and PS2 games anyways, and M&L is a RPG filled with content."
I own both games, and can tell you that both of these statement are false.
Fusion was great for a 2D Metroid. It's pure madness to say it trumps the best of what the PS1/2 have to offer, though.
M&L was good for what is clearly a beginner's RPG. Not much to do there apart from the main quest (which is about the length you'd expect from it, nothing huge).
Doma commented on Talking Point: The Logic Behind Game Boy Advan...:
It's laughable that WiiU owners are so starved for games they think having GBA games are a huge undertaking/reward.
@ikki5 By Nintendo releasing them on the lesser system first, fanboys are more likely to buy the same games again once they do come to the desired platform. This wouldn't happen if they were released on the WiiU/3DS simultaneously. How's that for milking?
@Sidewaydriver It has already failed. All Nintendo are focused on doing now is milking its tiny userbase with old and cheap (to produce) games. I think this E3 will finally drive home to everybody just how dead the system is.
Doma commented on Poll: Have Your Say On The GamePad's Role With...:
@Caryslan I'd guess that the only reason they chart is due to being the most recognizable Nintendo IP, combined with the fact they're the cheapest games available on the store. Most buyers probably ignore/discard them after the first 10 mins of play.
@Falco I fail to see what's selfish about that. You think it's a smart idea to be prioritizing handheld games on the WiiU, instead of their actual handheld?
Buy a WiiU if we want them? HA, nobody is that desperate.
@ZeroZX_Dev Look at the WiiU's status at market.. It's a bad joke to be saying the Gamepad is something that drew people in.
@cmk8 Advance Wars 2 on GBA is the best one.
@ikki5 I said 'too old', i'm well aware that EVERY single game on the service is old, thanks. GB games are also too old and crappy, apart from a select few titles. The difference in playability between them and GBA is huge. Just be honest, nobody really cares about NES/GB today (Facebook whining is irrelevant). The games are too primitive to enjoy now, unlike SNES/GBA.
Without an account system and cross compatibility, it's pretty stupid to be spreading games across platforms by mixing handheld/home console games. The idiots in charge of this need to wake up.
@ikki5 NES games are far too old and unplayable for the majority of people to care about nowadays. A few whining fanboys can't be equated to an army, lol.
@ikki5 Nobody would care if they did.
