@Pixel-Perfect Castlevania Rebirth is fantastic! I'd love to see more games in the series like that! I'm sure they wouldn't require very much budget, so Konami could release them alongside the bigger budget Castlevania games designed to appeal to the mainstream, right...?
A shame the lame 3DS game is selling so much better than the good Wii U one! Also a shame that FIFA 13 is selling so well, I'm ashamed of my country! But it's good that Luigi's Mansion 2 is still going strong~
The Check Mii Out channel will be missed, it's a great way to find lots of amusing Miis to download! I hope the Wii U gets something like it. Also I will raise a glass to poor News cat...
@Hunter-D Code of Princess was self-published by the developers in Europe, Atlus didn't have a hand in it... but yeah, as much as I like having physical copies of games, that would be a good idea! @BakaKnight I think it was only available online!
This game is so fantastic, it's so well designed and endlessly satisfying when you manage to beat levels! Do it properly guys, don't use save states! I'm able to beat this game on an actual NES and I suck at life so I'm sure you can do it too! However, having this game on a handheld console may not be the best idea... it's okay when you throw a controller out of frustration, but probably not your 3DS!
I think Brownie Brown was a much nicer name, 1-UP Studio sounds generic as hell! And hey, they've made some great stuff - not mentioned here, they also made Sword of Mana on GBA
@TysonOfTime@MrWalkieTalkie Your GIFs are very appropriate, this is extremely awesome news!! I really hope the game sells better over here so the localisers don't regret their decision!
Best downloadable game: Minecraft (Xbox 360)
A stripped down, late port of a PC game, wow! That beats out all the great downloadable titles released this year!
YouTube gamer award: Yogscast
God no
Outstanding contribution: EA Sports & FIFA
Outstanding contribution to what? Ripping people off?
These awards are terrible! They're either run by frat boys with horrible taste in games, or they're accepting bribes!
I really really want this to come to Europe too, I will definitely buy it on the day of release! It's weird that it hasn't yet because Gamebridge usually always publishes in Europe. And I agree - it probably doesn't need much localisation. I think BASIC uses English in any language anyway, only the instructions will need to be translated.
I really, really want this! It's been my lifelong dream to make video games, and I know I have the motivation to learn how to with this program! European release, please... it'll be an instant buy for me!
That's a big shame, considering this game was originally being made exclusively for WiiWare! Also it's quite amusing that they used that music, as it was a minor fad on YouTube a while back... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxLDcmHSEyw
Ahh, cool! So this has been confirmed for a European release but not an American one yet? Thanks to Nintendo of Europe, I'm happy to live here for once in my life!
I'm glad many people are mentioning Xenoblade in the comments, because it's the best Wii game ever in my opinion! And Eternal Darkness should be in the GC top 10 too...
I like the Mega Drive version of Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition, including the music, but they really messed up the sound in The New Challengers! Here's how it should sound! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4feZtw4pRVk
Hehehe, I'm glad this overrated game got a 6 from you guys, even though it's getting a lot of negative feedback in the comments! In my opinion the only fun thing about it is Sonic's first stage, City Escape. After that it's all downhill...
If people are wondering how Super Mario Land 2 is, I can give my opinion, having played the Game Boy version to death. It is fun and has a nice variety of areas, and is a lot more Mario-like than SML1. However, I feel that until the final level, it's too easy, and that makes it feel quite short as you blast through it. It's certainly longer and more varied than SML1, and, say, the first Mega Man Game Boy game (don't get me wrong, I love that game, and every other one in the GB series, except for the second one), though of course the difficulty is completely the opposite of that.
Lots of Nintendo bashing going on at this Nintendo-based website! It's like the Sonic fanbase or something! (Referring to the comments, not the articles, by the way) Personally I'm in love with Nintendo right now - because I live in England, and Nintendo of Europe localised Xenoblade and Solatorobo.
