IMO the reason the Wii U hasn't had as "expected" sales is because of people like me who are waiting for these powerful games that will leave the competition in the dust

no,no,no. That ain't the problem with Mario Kart. There's more than enough characters in the mushroom kingdom for them to add to the game. There's no need to add from side franchises.
