Yes, let's all blame the Wii U because you want to put out the same game with a few changes. I know Nintendo does this with New Super Mario Bros. but the only time where their releases collided was when the 3DS XL and Wii U came out. And that was due to bad timing. Plus, there's only one New Super Mario Bros. for every handheld and console while you're making the same game for the same systems.

I think that they should start putting out at least five VC titles a week.

I can wait for the remake of this game and the new Zelda Wii U title! However, I don't expect seeing that new Zelda Wii U title until winter of next year.

What's this talk of another Metroid Prime? There were only supposed to be three. Making a fourth would be a huge lie to the fans. They're better off sequeling another game in the Metroid franchise. Or prequeling.

You know, it's Ubisoft's fault that the game was delayed, not the developers. Now the developers are trying to make up for their publisher's folly. I will support the developers, but Ubisoft has lost my respect. Thanks Ellie!

P.S. Ellie and the rest of the Rayman team should leave Ubisoft and join the big N.

The 3DS XL is a larger version of the 3DS! Stop complaining about it not having a second circle pad! If it did have one, the regular 3DS would need one two because, again, THE 3DS XL IS A BIGGER VERSION OF THE 3DS!!!

Also, making games isn't as fast as people think it is. These people live, too. They're not up 24 hours and 7 days a week working. Be patient. That's all Iwata asks of us.

People, please do realize that the Gamepad is what it is; a gamepad. So don't be comparing it to tablets that do so much more because it's like comparing apples to oranges.

I'll call it Mewtwo (//enter something// Forme). If Mewtwo is the ultimate Pokémon, why are people saying it's an evo? Another forme, sure, but an evo? Really people? Why would they make a Mewthree either? Mewtwo is too perfect to perfect.

The Wii U is new. The PS3 and Xbox 360 has been around for a few years. So no, the Wii U will NOT have a price cut. And judging by all the stuff the PS4 is supposed to have, it ain't gonna be less than the Wii U at it's current price. Basically it's like they're saying "Nintendo, step back and watch as the pros do it right [Sony and Microsoft]."

Nintendo isn't trying to compete with anyone. They made the option of retail downloads:

1) to give the consumer another choice and
2) to give the developers another option.

People have a tendency to compare, so it's only obvious that the [NLife] people will compare Nintendo Network and eShop to Xbox Live and Playstation Network.

I think @cornishlee is trying to say is that Bobby expected Nintendo to have kids down flat but Nintendo wasn't targeting kids. Nintendo was going for the well-rounded approach rather than the family-friendly approach. Remember, "the console is tailor-made just for you" while the Wii is "fun for the entire family". I'm pretty sure Reggie said that.

Price drop, price drop, price drop! Why does Nintendo have to be the cheap ones? $300 is too much for the NEW Wii U but $300 for a USED Xbox 360 is just right??? Where the heck is that logic???

Is everyone forgetting that the Wii and Wii U are like two different computers? The Virtual Console data on the Wii Mode is stored in the Wii Mode "hard drive" while the ones on the native Wii U are store on it's "hard drive". Transferring the data would be like transferring from a computer to a laptop without USB Flash Drive, USB HDD, or SD Card.

@Phillip_J_Reed You've been lost me when you made countless comparisons to Cave Story. You even said it yourself; Cave Story came AFTER this. Comparing Cave Story to Ikachan makes sense; comparing Ikachan to Cave Story does not.

What do people not get about NEW GAMES? Everyone keeps saying "Oh it's just release dates of games announced at launch" or "it has to be software updates". Makes no sense!

@Windy It's up to developers on whether they include local wifi or internet wifi. You make it sound as if Nintendo only put local in the 3DS. On another note, the Dragon Quest series wasn't made by Nintendo.
