Captain-Falcon commented on Orders Open For Xbox One in China as Nintendo ...:

@Gerbwmu The Wii Mini actually seems like a great idea, maybe they could mix it up a bit and add a dedicated memory card that you could take to IQue stations and download Wii games. It would allow Nintendo to become more of a brand in China if they stick to the IQue stations.

Captain-Falcon commented on PDP GameCube-Styled Wired Fight Pad For Wii U ...:

@FullbringIchigo they are officially licensed so i'm sure the quality will be on par with nintendo. At least, if you look at the N64 official controller compared with the Hori Mini N64 controller the Hori is a lot more functional and they last a lot longer.

I, like many other people, wish that this were just a reshaped pro controller rather than a classic controller. Gonna wait for reviews on this pad before i decide to buy some of these, or the adapter and some 2nd hand GameCube controllers

@Kaze_Memaryu how is hyrule warriors 'slowly becoming a questionable title'? It's always looked exactly like dynasty warriors and never bared much resemblance to past zelda games, so if people were hoping for it to be like a zelda game thats their fault. All you had to do was watch the reveal video and compare it to footage of dynasty warriors 8

A good comparison with this is Steam. Steam's QA (quality assurance) is non-existent because Steam have opened the flood gates and allowed anyone who has a kind of publisher to put their game on Steam. This means that in the "most recent" section there are usually just a bunch of shovel ware and good games don't get the coverage they need.

Nintendo meanwhile have a lot less games to QA than Steam, Xbox-Live or PSN, and both XBL and PSN have really good QA. I certainly think the level of QA Nintendo have now is better than with WiiWare. Either way, we as consumers should not buy content without reading a review or watching a gameplay video.

Why are people even hating so bad. The fanboyism is strong in this comment section. The guy didn't even hate on Nintendo and people start to hate on him because he is associated with Sony? Did people even read the story, he is basically praising the Wii.

Captain-Falcon commented on Interview: Pro Smash Competitors Armada & Mew2...:

I heard from a you-tuber (he mostly plays fighting games but he's not pro or anything) that a major issue with the E3 build is that defensive play is far more effective than ofensive. He told one of the Nintendo E3 staff people and they said a lot of people had that view. The problem seemed to be that it was way easier to counter than to attack, and so he always wanted to play defensively. He also said he played around 40 rounds of WiiU and 20 of 3DS

Captain-Falcon commented on Interview: Pro Smash Competitors Armada & Mew2...:

Why is it that people on Nintendo Life always seem to dislike Mew2King. You guys should watch 'The smash brothers' a documentary on YouTube about competitive smash melee.

And on the Melee v Brawl front, while i prefer the game content for Brawl (more stages, subspace and more characters) Melee will always have the higher skill cap and is better for competitive play. Brawl is just too defensive and i hope that Sora change that for SSB4.

Captain-Falcon commented on Tomonubu Itagaki Thinks Gamers Will Buy A Wii ...:

I thought it looked meh, i only bought a wiiU for 1st and 2nd party because my PC runs all my other stuff.

I find that if anything is exclusive to a Nintendo product people on this site assume it will be gold standard. Same as Hyrule Warriors, people should not pre-order that until they read a review for Dynasty Warriors.

3 suicides is hardly proof of an adictive substance. Suicides can happen about a lot of things, that's like saying cats and dogs are addictive. But we do all know a night in with your friends with beer and a bit of "class A" Mario Kart is extremely dangerous stuff.

Gotta be bayo2, platinum always deliver great quality. Apart from that im going to buy smash, affordable space adventures and pikmin3 because I only got a wiiu recently.

I will wait on reviews for hyrule warriors vecause I hear it is just like a re-skinned dynasty warriors8, which i've already played. Project cars will be bought for my PC.

Captain-Falcon commented on Review: Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark (...:

@DragonbornRito It is quite suprising for this franchise. Tranformers war and fall of cybertron are amazing games that i really enjoyed. They were great as 3rd person shooters in their own right, but the story was really great for transformers fans aswell. I guess the new devs aren't up to scratch because high moon studios were great.

Honestly, i spent way more time on multiplayer on past transformers games than on the campaign

I just looked at the playstation IGN review and wow... This game is bad

Captain-Falcon commented on Veteran Publisher THQ To Rise From The Dead, I...:

@FragRed I hope they don't come out with a new home console for at least 4/5 years, nintendo will never be on the same graphical level as the competition if the stick to Yokoi's ethic (take proven, cheap hardware and make good content with it) and to be honest i think the WiiU can provide interesting experiences my PC can't offer

Back on topic, DARKSIDERS WOO! i don't care if it isn't on WiiU (id play it on PC anyway :P) but Darksiders is one of my favourite franchises, Zelda mixed with God of War combat!

Captain-Falcon commented on Mario Maker to Include Additional Graphical St...:

@LazyShell I'm sure that Nintendo will have that, there's no way they would skip a feature as necessary as that.

I hope that there are a lot more items/ building materials than we saw at E3 because the building community will need more content to stay interested. I was heavily involved in the trails evolution building community, and the sheer amount of content in the game's level editor was what kept me coming back to design new levels.
