What's it going to take for us to get a new megaman game?

I really want it to be Star Fox. I'm tried of metroid.

I hope you don't control the game with the stylus like the DS games.

I might actually get this. I never stopped watching power rangers. But I admit the newer games are nothing like the ones for snes and sega genesis. Also you can in fact play those old games on the Wii. But it requires hacking.

I have a gba emulator for both my psp and Wii. It's great. Runs perfectly.

I personally don't think it's wrong to pirate games that nintendo no longer makes money off of. This includes everything from nes to gamecube. Another thing to think about is the rareness of a game. Metroid prime trilogy and xenoblade chronicles both sell for $100+ on eBay and amazon. The average person can't afford that. I can't. And if a person does pay that price, nintendo won't see any of that money since it's a used game. So people should be able to pirate them in that situation. Anyway this won't work. They tried to shut down megaupload and it came back a year later. This is a nice effort but I doubt it'll do anything.

I am so glad this did not happen. I would've hated it. I'm a die-hard nintendo fan, but I've always loved sonic as well. I mainly bought all of my sega systems just to play sonic. If this had happened it meant I would have had to buy microsoft's systems too! No thanks. I've never been interested in xbox.

I put down Star Fox U for most wanted upcoming game. I hope that rumor about retro studios making it is true.

I hate it. I guess we'll never get another paper mario game like the first two. I think miyamoto should be shot for this.

I'm sorry but I still think that Nintendo really has no excuse for the Wii U not having Gamecube BC support.Let me explain.

I have detailed here, how it is possible for Nintendo to have GC compatiblity, and Not add to system cost. It requires no more emulation that Nintendo has already programmed for Wii compatiblity.
Also, just because there would be physical compatiblity, that doesn't mean GC games would be off limits to the Virtual Console.

Gamecube Specs:

PowerPC CPU @ 486MHZ
Exact Same ATI GPU @ 162MHZ

16MB to buffer DVD drive and for Audio Processor
The only remaining differences are I/O and of course the DVD drive itself.

As you can see the Wii and Gamecube are very much the same, save for some overclocking and a RAM upgrade.

Here's how the Wii gets compatiblity: (From what I can decipher) 48MB of RAM is disabled, and 16MB is used as a DVD buffer and reserved for audio. The processors are then clocked down from 1.5x speed to 1x and run at Gamecube spec.

Now if the Wii U can already run Wii games without issue, what is preventing Gamecube compatiblity?

You may say "what about controller ports and memory cards?" Well nintendo could release a new wireless wavebird controller for that. And for memory cards they could release a memory card adpator so we can transfer our current cards to the Wii U internal memory.

While I do like f-zero, I'd much rather have a new star fox game. I really hope that's the secret game retro studios is developing.

I'm disappointed it doesn't have flash. This means it won't be able to stream anime from sites like justdubs.net, goodanime.net, animecrazy.net

I agree with those fans. This game is a travesty. I don't know what the hell capcom is thinking. In 2003 for megaman's 15th anniversary we got 6 new games. So wtf happened this time? It's like they don't give a damn about megaman anymore. If this is the case then why not just sell the megaman license to another developer who can actually do it some justice? F*** you, capcom!

Why no party members?

I'm sorry but this is something I refuse to do. I'm not paying $20 for a game I already own and originally payed $50 for just because nintendo is too greedy and cheap to have made the Wii U backward compatible.

Really I think the main reason why people pirate is because games are becoming too expensive. Handheld games that used to be $30 are now $40 (3DS) and $50 (vita). Console games that used to be $50 are now $60.
