"As with the Bit.Trip games I'd happily spend real money to get the soundtrack on iTunes or wherever so Nnooo make it so!"

We have now made it so! The soundtrack is available on our Facebook page via CD Baby. Enjoy!

Thanks to everyone for your positive comments :D They mean a lot to us as an indie developer. To answer a couple of questions:

@L_Brown:
"Do you already know when the release of the second chapter is?"

If Chapter 1 is a commercial success for us Chapter 2 is likely to be released early next year. With all of these great reviews we hope Chapter 1 will sell well :)

We are making it so Sean! We've been working with @beattherapy, the composer of the music, to get an album out as soon as possible. Keep an eye out for it. It will be released very soon!

Thanks for the supportive comments everyone :D
@Portista the game starts off very simply so you get the hang of what's going on. Each new enemy type and obstacle are introduced individually so you get used to them before moving to the next level. So when you play the game it shouldn't be confusing :)

Bruce_Thomson commented on Feature: Introducing escapeVektor: Chapter 1:

@Qwikman_N_Bass OK, I'll let you know about a couple of others. There are bronze, silver, gold & platinum medals to collect on each level and a star which is awarded on each level for completing it in a certain way. But I'm not going to tell you how you get the star. You need to stay tuned for the rest of this feature.

So, to answer your question, yes there are plenty of achievements and collectibles :D

@Qwikman_N_Bass once you unlock Boost and another ability called Detonate (which is described in part 3 of this feature), you can increase the number of Boost bars, the number of Detonation pips and your Detonation radius. This is done through progression in the game with each collectible triggered by reaching a certain score.

@SuperSuchiLax: Great question! There will be changes to the styles of the levels depending on the theme of each chapter, We will also be introducing new enemy types, some new puzzle elements to make life even harder for Vektor and we'll be making more use of different modes.
We're working on Chapter 2 at the moment. It's definitely going to be more challenging than Chapter 1.

SennaKurosaki, the visual style is deliberately minimalistic. We want the player to feel like Vektor is trapped inside the CPU so the graphics are abstract. Thanks for your comments on gameplay. We think it's a lot of fun!

Omega, there will definitely be more chapters. We are pretty far through Chapter 2 already!

iphys, we plan on a 3DS version but it won't be out for some time yet.

We're hoping to release the game at the end of this year. It's taken us a while as it is a big undertaking for a small team but we're really excited about it.
SyFyTy, they are coming out as 2 separate titles. Each one will have some spirits that are not in the other game. We agree about your camera comment, this has been under-utilised by developers. It's a shame that more developers don't pay attention to the console's unique features.

Thanks for all the supportive comments :)
Kainard, just to clarify, the battles aren't online, but as Corbie says in his review, you can extend challenges to players online, ie you can create & send a challenge code to your friend via email/SMS/Facebook which gives them the ability to fight a spirit you have previously battled and captured.
