yeah, I agree with that, which is why I think "retro" events are failing. there needs to be something more than just "retro" to make them a success. there is a retro video game magazine called Revival. is this related?

also, where are gaming's grown-ups in real life? so many of the gaming grown-ups act like kids and I think that is because they still play games. young at heart. he asks an excellent question.

also note he was on the news the night before he died. they said his cancer came back and that he can't talk, but that he will continue to write about movies and that he had some other ideas about what to do. so, the next day news was a complete shock.

I'm right there with you KnightRider666 and hydeks. I also never had any of these when I was a kid, but I really, really wanted them. of course I also remember some rich friends had them. I remember someone had Coleco Pac-Man and I loved playing it. was there a Tron? I remember a Tron tabletop. I really do need these now.

I really don't like it when this happens. even if I don't play a game online. sad to see online play for a game to go away. you pay for the game. all of the features should stay in the game. what does it take to run a server for online play? any man hours? if not, online servers for all games should keep running.
