Strange. When I try to download the fifth episode, I get a message saying it's no longer available. Do more people have the same problem?

4-bit art? That's a strange name. I doubt there has ever been a video game console (or any slightly advanced device) that used a 4-bit CPU. The Atari 2600 for example was an 8-bit console.

A forum post by an anonymous person is everything but a reliable source. Still, if he's speaking the truth this would be a very bad thing and unfair competition. I'm curious how Nintendo would react to this.

Awesome! The reason I didn't buy the DS games because the games were said to be relatively short and I found €40,- per game a bit too expensive. But now I will finally be able to play the series.

I don't have that many friends with a Wii, and the ones that do have one are already hooked up to the internet unfortunately.

Awesome! I'll be downloading this directly tomorrow morning. The PC version is much cheaper (especially if you buy it trough Telltale's site and live in a Euro country) and runs better than the one on WiiWare, so I'll recommend that one.

This is only the opinion of a single programmer, and unless you're a Nintendo fanboy there is no reason to care about what he says. In any case, this will not at all make me less of a fan of Telltale's games.

Ah well, releasing VC games will remain a very cheap and easy way to make money for Nintendo, so they'll probably continue. A bit of marketing for the service certainly wouldn't be a bad idea though. I done well, it might even increase overall interest in retro games in general.

Wow, I just checked and the setup file for the PC version and it's 188 MB. I'm curious what kind of magic compression techniques they use there.

Sega CD support! This is mainly for Sonic CD and Snatcher (I know, not a Sega game) but I'm sure many people would like to replay some of the campy FMV cult classics.

Since when does the amount of work it costs to make a game say anything about it's quality. An outright horrible game like Sonic 2006 probably also took 50 times more work than say the fantastic World of Goo.

This game is looking very interesting. I have to restrain myself not to buy it before the review.

I really liked Bit.Trip Beat and this game is looking very good too. For only 600 WiiPoints this is a must-buy.

Awesoooooooooooooooooooome! I'm a big fan of the Monkey Island series and of Telltale, so this is going to be fantastic. I'm still downloading the PC version though, because it is going to be much cheaper.

Awesome. Although Strong Bad wasn't as good Sam & Max (that would be pretty hard actually) the episodes still were very entertaining and funny. However, since the games are much cheaper for the PC (thanks to the low dollar course) I don't think I'm gonna download the next season on WiiWare.

Looks awesome! I'm certainly going to buy this if there are enough different games.

Nice, 3000 and 1000 points cards will be very usefull. Unfortunately there still is no storage solution, and being required to delete half of your games every time you want to download something new doesn't really motivate me to buy more WiiPoints.

Well, this seems like a case where downloading the ROM is justified. I'll still wait for some more news on this but otherwise they leave me with no choice.

Is this the same as the Game gear version? I kinda liked it but it is (logically) not nearly as good as Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and 3 on the Mega Drive.

I really love the original game, it's pretty hectic and fun to play with friends. I don't think it will really work as a game though...

A really hope they manage to make enough money for a PEGI rating and get the game released in Europe. The concept sounds very fun and I'd like to support developpers like this.

Judging from how many already released VC games there are that have received a 5-star rating from this site, there is not much to complain about. There are plenty of good games already available, you just shouldn't expect a new blockbuster title every week.

Since I don't know the charts of last week I can't comment on the changes. I do hope World of Goo is going too sell well here.

Yay! Finally! I've been saving up my WiiPoints for quite some time for this. After playing the demo I can't wait to play the rest of this awesome and clever game.

Some websites say that World of Goo is going to be released on WiiWare in Europe next week. Is that correct?

I still can't wait untill World of Goo gets released in Europe. Too bad we didn't get it today and we'll probably have to wait until next month...

I still really liked this game in Animal Crossing. The controls are a bit tough but you get used to them and discover a pretty challenging game. I would certainly recommend the 2-player mode.

Sometimes Nintendo is just being an asshole. And this is one of these times...

Meh, it remains an interactive screensaver and that's certainly not worth my €5,-.

Even though it's twice as expensive as the PC version in Europe, I'm still going to buy it. I've never seen any Homestar Runner comic or flash movie before but I really liked the humour in the demo and am a huge TellTale fan. You still shouldn't buy this for the puzzles since they were (in the demo, at least) pretty mediocore compared to most good adventure games.

That Strong Bad would be number one could be expected, but Pong Toss on second and Toki Tori last? I'm never going to look at these lists again, it might cause me to die of a heart attack...

Conclusion:

People have no taste.

They should include the option to change the buttons in SNES games. Most of them are a hell to control with the GC controller.

If this is going to come to Europe, I really hope we'll get translated versions of Snatcher and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. But I doubt it.

The main reason we have to pay more than the Americans is probably the low Dollar and high Euro course, which makes everything look more expensive than on the other side of the Atlantic. But since our incomes also increase we actually don't pay that much more.

Toki Tori is the only WiiWare game I downloaded and it's definately worth it. The level design is very clever and challenging. And the hard levels are hard, very hard. The game is also very addicting and it contains about 75 stages, so it's definately worth your $10,- or €8,-

I'm only getting this if it has online multiplayer (against other people than friends). Otherwise I'll just stick to Bomberman '93.
