Aardvark_Soup commented on Phoenix Wright Series Coming To WiiWare:

Awesome! The reason I didn't buy the DS games because the games were said to be relatively short and I found €40,- per game a bit too expensive. But now I will finally be able to play the series.

Aardvark_Soup commented on Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 2 on PC Tomorro...:

Awesome! I'll be downloading this directly tomorrow morning. The PC version is much cheaper (especially if you buy it trough Telltale's site and live in a Euro country) and runs better than the one on WiiWare, so I'll recommend that one.

Could you please elaborate your response? If you don't I, as a Monkey Island fanboy, will unfortunately be forced to violently murder you.

Aardvark_Soup commented on iPhone more powerful than Wii?:

This is only the opinion of a single programmer, and unless you're a Nintendo fanboy there is no reason to care about what he says. In any case, this will not at all make me less of a fan of Telltale's games.

Aardvark_Soup commented on Nintendo Rep: Virtual Console Being Toned Down:

Ah well, releasing VC games will remain a very cheap and easy way to make money for Nintendo, so they'll probably continue. A bit of marketing for the service certainly wouldn't be a bad idea though. I done well, it might even increase overall interest in retro games in general.

Aardvark_Soup commented on Bit Boy!!:

This game is looking very interesting. I have to restrain myself not to buy it before the review.

Aardvark_Soup commented on Eduardo the Samurai Toaster Coming to WiiWare ...:

Awesome! I can't wait for this title. Unfortunately I'll have to delete some other games before I can play it because I haven't got a SD-card.

@ above: I doubt the UK is good for half of the European game sales, since only 12% of the Europeans comes from there.

Aardvark_Soup commented on Tales Of Monkey Island coming to WiiWare:

Awesoooooooooooooooooooome! I'm a big fan of the Monkey Island series and of Telltale, so this is going to be fantastic. I'm still downloading the PC version though, because it is going to be much cheaper.

Aardvark_Soup commented on Need Some Tetris Lessons?:

Wait. You just watch him play Tetris for 45 minutes? What kind of course is that?! That's like watching a mathematics professor solve equations for 45 minutes, you don't pay for that.

Aardvark_Soup commented on Telltale Says Strong Bad Game Sales Double, Mo...:

Awesome. Although Strong Bad wasn't as good Sam & Max (that would be pretty hard actually) the episodes still were very entertaining and funny. However, since the games are much cheaper for the PC (thanks to the low dollar course) I don't think I'm gonna download the next season on WiiWare.

Aardvark_Soup commented on Review: Pyoro (DSiWare):

My sister used to be addicted to Pyoro 2 on WarioWare. She also was ridicilously good at it: I never managed to get even close to her highscore of 73250.

Aardvark_Soup commented on 1000 and 3000 Nintendo Points Cards on Store S...:

Nice, 3000 and 1000 points cards will be very usefull. Unfortunately there still is no storage solution, and being required to delete half of your games every time you want to download something new doesn't really motivate me to buy more WiiPoints.

Aardvark_Soup commented on Onslaught:

The trailer does make the game seem pretty stupid. Insect cyborgs? Come on. I think I'll wait for the review.

Aardvark_Soup commented on USA VC Update: Sonic Chaos:

Is this the same as the Game gear version? I kinda liked it but it is (logically) not nearly as good as Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and 3 on the Mega Drive.

Aardvark_Soup commented on Jungle Speed:

I really love the original game, it's pretty hectic and fun to play with friends. I don't think it will really work as a game though...

Aardvark_Soup commented on Talking Point: Is the Virtual Console On The S...:

Judging from how many already released VC games there are that have received a 5-star rating from this site, there is not much to complain about. There are plenty of good games already available, you just shouldn't expect a new blockbuster title every week.

Since I don't know the charts of last week I can't comment on the changes. I do hope World of Goo is going too sell well here.

Aardvark_Soup commented on World of Goo:

Some websites say that World of Goo is going to be released on WiiWare in Europe next week. Is that correct?

Aardvark_Soup commented on Clu Clu Land:

I still really liked this game in Animal Crossing. The controls are a bit tough but you get used to them and discover a pretty challenging game. I would certainly recommend the 2-player mode.

Aardvark_Soup commented on Review: Strong Bad Episode 1 - Homestar Ruiner...:

Even though it's twice as expensive as the PC version in Europe, I'm still going to buy it. I've never seen any Homestar Runner comic or flash movie before but I really liked the humour in the demo and am a huge TellTale fan. You still shouldn't buy this for the puzzles since they were (in the demo, at least) pretty mediocore compared to most good adventure games.

Aardvark_Soup commented on MSX Hits Japanese VC, Includes Special Options:

They should include the option to change the buttons in SNES games. Most of them are a hell to control with the GC controller.

If this is going to come to Europe, I really hope we'll get translated versions of Snatcher and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. But I doubt it.

Aardvark_Soup commented on Toki Tori Coming To America On Monday!:

The main reason we have to pay more than the Americans is probably the low Dollar and high Euro course, which makes everything look more expensive than on the other side of the Atlantic. But since our incomes also increase we actually don't pay that much more.

Toki Tori is the only WiiWare game I downloaded and it's definately worth it. The level design is very clever and challenging. And the hard levels are hard, very hard. The game is also very addicting and it contains about 75 stages, so it's definately worth your $10,- or €8,-

Aardvark_Soup commented on Bomberman:

I'm only getting this if it has online multiplayer (against other people than friends). Otherwise I'll just stick to Bomberman '93.

Aardvark_Soup commented on Toki Tori:

This game is awesome. I've played this on the GBC and the puzzles are very clever. It's also very addicting and pretty long. If you like good puzzle games this will be absolutely worth your WiiPoints.
