3DSLUIGI commented on Sega Still Considering Its Options For The Wii...:

If I said it once before with SEGA , then I will keep saying it until I'm as blue in the face as their logo. It would be great if SEGA were to release SEGA CD & SEGA SATURN games on the Wii U VC. Dreamcast games would be a cool addition also, but I'm not so sure if the limitations of a Dreamcast game would fit into the size limit for a Wii U VC game tbh. Although, I do agree with some others that the GBA Sonic Advance games would be cool to have on the Wii U eShop.

I'm getting pumped just waiting for Mario Kart 8 to hit street release date here where I'm at in the US on 5/30/2014. I will give credit to Thomas for being a great driver in this game early on. But imo, I'm sure I can take him if we ever meet up in a race in a community. All in all, I really enjoyed 3 tracks he played: GBA Mario Circuit , N64 Royal Raceway & N64 Rainbow Road. Nice skillz pal! ;)

On a side note about the whole DK Jr. being DK situation that some NL users are talking about on here. I myself think highly that DK Jr. imo is ACTUALLY DK currently, but then again, if that was the case, then why did DK Jr. appear as a stand alone unlockable character in Mario Tennis back on the N64? It's a bit of a puzzle to think about when you go back to that one game.

Well, from the looks of this article. For me, it was definitely BOTH Luigi and Peach. Trust me, I have nothing AT ALL against Koopa Troopa or anything like that. It's just that with me, I always found Luigi and Peach to be fast racers for me when I played Super Mario Kart.

I have to say I was a bit stunned when Nintendo announced the Mario Kart 8 Wii U BUNDLE would be shelling out for $329.99 seeing as how what they're packaging in with the console and GamePad. In my case, even though I have a Wii U already, the only choice that jumps out to me for the one FREE game I can get that I never had the chance to grab back last year is The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD.

WOW! :O $429.95 just for this as a whole bundle. I'm not trying to point any fingers at UK or Australia or any region AT ALL. But isn't a price like that a bit too pricey? I mean, even if the Wii U is in a desperate need to see more sales, isn't this kind of overdoing things a bit? :/

It's good to see that the Mario Kart 8 Wii U BUNDLE upgrades from being a rumor to a reality now in the UK. Although I can live without the YOSHI Wii Remote Plus tbh. I'd rather get the PEACH one instead of this one, but that's just me. Now, if NOA can produce the same news as with the UK about this going on, then everything will be rolling smoothly. If not, then there will be nothing but doom on North America's side of the ball.

3DSLUIGI commented on Possibility of SNES Remix and Other Remix Titl...:

NES Remix was a good game I enjoyed playing the heck out of, and still do until NES Remix 2 surfaces on the Wii U eShop. A game I plan to go after as soon as it's released btw. ;) As for another remix brand if it ever happens. I'd rather want to see a GAME BOY Remix before we get a SNES Remix. Now I'm not against an SNES Remix AT ALL. I just mean after all, the GAME BOY did come out about 2 years before the SNES did, so it would make more sense to me that way.

3DSLUIGI commented on Koichi Hayashida Explains Absence of NES Remix...:

I will agree with what some have said about a GAME BOY Remix for the 3DS. For some strange reason, I was thinking about that before when I saw one of the first trailers for NES Remix 2 after it was announced in the last Nintendo Direct we had I think back in February. The only problem is if a GAME BOY Remix was done based on GAME BOY games only, what games would you be able to add next to Super Mario Land , Tetris , Dr. Mario and Kirby's Dream Land. In closing, I will say it would have been nice to see both NES Remix and NES Remix 2 show up on 3DS also. But maybe with Nintendo , they're aiming with those kind of games just for the consoles seeing as they were all console games and not portable games.

Happy 25TH Birthday GAME BOY!! ;) Truly one of THE BEST portables I ever played, and Nintendo has ever made , imo back in 1989 , and still going strong. I mean that because even though GAME BOY isn't around anymore, it's legacy still lives on with the 3DS VC , and in every gamers hearts and memories.

@JaxonH

Ya know, it's funny you mention the Donkey Kong Land series because I just found out today that Donkey Kong Land 2 was released on the japanese 3DS VC on 4/16/2014 thanks to Nintendo Of Japan's site. 2 weeks right after Donkey Kong Land was released over there also. I'm starting to see a pattern some what of if this is the case, then there's a possibility of Nintendo Of Japan seeing Donkey Kong Land III on 4/30/2014 also. Then once that's all said and done , and by the time they come out to the US & UK , then we may possibly see the return of the 3 DKC games appear on all regions of the Wii U eShop.

3DSLUIGI commented on Nintendo Download: 17th April (North America):

Now, I'm not trying to start no brawl or riot by what I'm about to say here. But since SMB 3 just came out yesterday on both the 3DS VC and Wii U VC , it won't be long before we probably see Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 coming from the GBA line to the Wii U eShop. Heck , just look at Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 that just came out over on the japanese Wii U VC on 4/3/2014. Count also that BOTH the US & UK are getting Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 next Thursday even though Japan is still waiting on a release for SMA 3 and it really wouldn't surprise me at all of any region's Wii U eShop getting SMA 4 down the road.

And to all the haters who "I'M GONNA SAY" are real pissed off about the fact of GBA games being on Wii U eShop's VC instead of the 3DS VC. Stop being mad about what wasn't able to be done yet on 3DS VC in the 3DS eShop. Even though anyone who owns a 3DS , myself included, think they should be on 3DS instead of Wii U despite the fact that mostly everyone I see makes posts about how GBA belongs strongly on 3DS because it has portables like the GAME BOY , GAME BOY COLOR , and GAME GEAR games running on it. Just be glad we got the 10 GBA Ambassador games next to the 10 NES Ambassador games. Because in the long run, we don't know if there will ever be a SOLID DAY in the 3DS's life where we'll all see GBA games running on the portable. Maybe it's too much for the 3DS to handle, maybe not.

Overall to me, speaking for everyone, even the haters also. I say just be glad Nintendo made the decision to make the jump for GBA games to show up in the Wii U eShop , because it's like playing a GBA Player without the GCN on the Wii U. Basically, anyone who never has owned a GBA Player to know what it looks like, or never even heard of it, it's like having a GBA Player of your very own on the Wii U to sit back and enjoy.

It's good to see that Game & Watch Gallery 3 is eventually making it's way to the 3DS VC in US & UK. Just wish there was some kind of release date window of how long it would be before both regions get it. Loved that game when I used to own it on my GAME BOY COLOR back in the day. Can't wait to play it again. Although, I do find it all weird in the end that Japan didn't get it yet as how they call it over there, Game Boy Gallery 3. Hopefully imo, they get the game after we do.

@rjejr

That's way too easy of an answer. Mostly for everyone, it would be waiting for the release of BOTH Nintendo 64 and Nintendo DS games , and Golden Sun: The Lost Age to pop up next on the Wii U eShop. Also add in Donkey Kong Land on the 3DS VC and possibly the other 2 games in the series from the GAME BOY if they ever wind up landing on the Japanese 3DS eShop in the coming months. Then people will probably start complaining again. Who knows? :/

Golden Sun and Super Mario Bros. 3 BOTH get my vote for this week. On a side note, I could really care less for F-Zero: Maximum Velocity that much seeing as how I was never too big on F-Zero games tbh.

@sinalefa

Who said anything about whining if that points at me also. I'm just ticked off a bit about the fact of why it took Nintendo so long to bring SMB 3 over here to the US after the UK got their release is all.

3DSLUIGI commented on Castlevania: Dracula X And Mega Man 5 Hitting ...:

It's good to see Japan getting Mega Man 5 FINALLY on their Wii U VC. Now, if only they can manage to pull off a Mega Man 6 the week after Mega Man 5 , then you know something good is happening over in "The Land Of The Rising Sun". Then it wouldn't be long before BOTH the UK and US gets their hands on both those games also. As for everyone else talking about Castlevania: Rondo Of Blood , Dracula X and all the other names it's been called. IMO, I say screw the game to oblivion and wait until Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse comes out. Sure, I know a lot of gamers may despise the hell out of that game, but to me, it's one of the best NES Castlevania games ever made.

3DSLUIGI commented on Rumour: Mario Kart 8 Wii U Hardware Bundle On ...:

Looking at the current scene the Wii U has been in for quite awhile now, this Wii U + Mario Kart 8 BUNDLE would be a great start for Nintendo if it comes to UK first. Now, if this does wind up happening, then there's no reason AT ALL on why this shouldn't hit the US also imo. As for some out there wondering about the whole RED cases situation regarding Mario Kart 8. If I recall correctly before, then I believe I read somewhere that the RED casing is a North America EXCLUSIVE. I don't really know if UK ever claimed it for their region also, but ya, only region I know who has so far is US.

3DSLUIGI commented on Nintendo Shows Off Upcoming Golden Sun and F-Z...:

Ahh, it's good to know Golden Sun will be out next week. I haven't played that game since it first came out in 2001. Memories. :) It will be good to finally pick that gem of a game up again. Can't leave out SMB 3 next week too. Anyways, on the topic of Golden Sun, since they're releasing this game, you can be rest assured that Nintendo will surely bring out Golden Sun: The Lost Age sometime also down the road on the Wii U VC with it's password system to transfer all gameplay data from Golden Sun to Golden Sun: The Lost Ages. I mean, if they were able to still do it with Oracle Of Seasons and Oracle Of Ages almost nearly a year ago on 3DS VC , then it can surely happen again. Despite the fact of the game being on the Wii U eShop or not.

SSB 4 running at 60 FPS looked pretty sweet for the 3DS version. Although, it was weird to see Assist Trophies running at 30 FPS but ah well, the game looks great anyways. All in all, I can't wait for this game in the summer. Sakurai did a real good job imo with everything he showed off. ;)

I forgot to add in last night that it would also be real sweet to see a game surface like Mega Man & Bass from the GBA on the Wii U eShop if they ever get around to that. If anyone is that DESPERATE enough to shell out $500 or around that amount, then the only people I see doing that would be hardcore SNES game collectors.

@WaveBoy

I wouldn't say we will NEVER see the light of day with Mega Man 7. It could be possible about that being the case, then again, it may not. It's just a matter of time on how fast CAPCOM releases Mega Man 7 on the Wii U VC.

3DSLUIGI commented on Masahiro Sakurai Teases A Potential Final Smas...:

I gotta admit, when I saw this pic. this morning, I was kind of a bit turned off of the idea that this would be Luigi's NEW Final Smash. I mean, what the heck else could it mean seeing as how he's glowing in the image. But on a side note, it is good to see Luigi sporting the Poltergust 5000 this time. Now, Negative Zone may not have been my fav. Final Smash in Brawl , but is sure was quite interesting if you pulled it off right in a 3 or 4 player FREE-FOR-ALL. In closing, I will agree with what @DreamyViridi said about how many other veteran characters Final Smashes have changed. As for TOTAL characters in the game, I predict about 40 - 45 at least.

3DSLUIGI commented on Six Portable Mega Man Games, Including Mega Ma...:

I'm actually glad Mega Man II , Mega Man III , Mega Man IV & Mega Man V are being released on the 3DS VC in May. I really enjoyed Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge , and ever since I beat that game on the 3DS VC , I had a huge craving for the rest of the Blue Bomber's GAME BOY classics. But I couldn't give a care less for Mega Man Xtreme or Mega Man Xtreme 2 in all honesty. I prefer the 3 Mega Man X games on SNES tbh. As for missing games, isn't it about time we also got Mega Man 5 , Mega Man 6 & Mega Man 7 on Wii U VC also too CAPCOM. Also, the reason why I added Mega Man 7 is because I always heard that was one of the rarest SNES games to find. And to me, it would be a real treat to experience that game. ;)

Mario Kart 8 themed playing cards sound like a sweet pre-order bonus from Amazon Japan. It's funny when I look at this article. I don't really recall the N64 Expansion Pak being advertised when they released Donkey Kong 64 back in late 1999. Although, I can imagine the part about the game glitching up or crashing without the N64 Expansion Pak inserted into the Nintendo 64 was true back then because if I recall right, I think Nintendo or RARE said the Expansion Pak was needed to enjoy most of the whole game.
