I figured DLC would be unlikely on Wii U. I bought the game anyway. Gotta show 3rd party devs that some of us Wii U owners want their games and will support them.

Well I currently own all the existing tables for Zen 2 so more would be welcome. Having them Star Wars themed is just a bonus.

When you add Gamecube, WiiWare, and Virtual Console to the Wii's own library I'd say its pretty deserving of top spot.

Well finally! I imported a circle pad LL(XL) a while back just waiting for this game.

Wasn't too impressed with what Sony showed so far. All that streaming of games, downloads and updates is going to mean latency, even on decent Internet speeds. No backwards compatability for disc or digital Ps3 purchases, or the Dualshock 3 for that matter. Looking past all PR fluff I saw a prettier Killzone, tech demos and Ps4 versions of current gen games.

I don't hold much hope for the Wii U version.

Nintendo can't announce its major titles in development for after the launch window now. We all expect Sony and Microsoft to announce new hardware next year. Most likely at E3. Nintendo needs some big announcements then to grab some hype back. Sony and Microsoft announce their hardware. Nintendo responds here's the next 3d Mario title, Zelda looks like this and Mario Kart is coming.

The concept of the Wii U just isn't as instantly appealing as the original Wii was. It's a system that you really have to go hands on with. It's then you understand. The convenience of off TV play. The allure of Miiverse. Unfortunately Nintendo made the same mistake they made with the 3DS launch. They relied on the appeal of third party games. They said it themselves. When they saw how many titles third parties were committing at launch, they held back on some of their planned 1st party releases. This has led to the launch games feeling a bit lacklustre. Reducing the overall excitement for the system.

I grabbed 3 retail games at launch. Most people I know grabbed at least 2. Not sure why the American numbers are so low. Poor economy?

I can't remember ever being so happy with a console at launch. The Wii U makes feel like a kid at Christmas.

I would still have grabbed it later, when it was cheap. Can still import it from the UK I guess.

As the posters above said, I hope Nintendo ID comes out before the launch of Wii U. It's going to be shared between 3DS and Wii U so a 3DS firmware update could let us set up our ID. Probs be just routine maintenance tho.

I really don't like it. I understand why they're targeting the casual market. I'm not that market though, so it doesn't appeal to me.

It's a new Nintendo system. Nintendo have some of the best franchises in the business. No way I'm missing out on those. I tend to buy each piece of hardware from Nintendo and Sony. However if the 3rd party support for Wii U continues to be strong, I may just stick with Wii U only for next gen.

I dream of the day I can get Wii U games here in Australia for $60. Us Aussies have been screwed over for years. Our $ is on par with the U.S yet we will pay between $99 and $108 for Wii U games!

For once us Aussies don't get screwed. The Wii U is priced very competitively down here!

@Janett Wii U memory is expandable by SD or USB. If you want White just grab it. You won't be missing out on anything that can't be puchased seperatley anyway.

Well I was getting close to grabbing a PSVita. Now I'm thinking I'll grab an XL instead.

I'll wait to see it before judging. I don't imagine it will follow the boat form factor of the original.

I'm getting at launch regardless of price I don't think it will be particularly cheap tho.

For me Nintendo most certainly did NOT win E3. After telling us that the Wii U would be a system to win back "core" gamers. Nintendo concentrated on what? SiNG, Just dance, Wii fit U and Nintendoland. WTF!
Ubisoft won E3. Nintendo could learn a lot from Ubisoft this year. Ubisoft still had the casual stuff, but the attention was on their core titles. It's their core titles everyone remembers and is talking about.
For me Nintendo sucked a lot of my enthusiasm for Wii U away. I had to look past Ninty's effort and seek out the info I wanted. The good news is there is enough good Wii U stuff to look forward to. Nintendo just didn't tell us about it themselves.

I still look forward to each Mario release. For me it hasn't been to much. Yet. I think the reason SM3dL seemed to lack innovation is because it was rushed out to prop up an at the time failing system. Mario Glaxy 2 was so good I can't complain. I think the huge success of NSMB on Ds led to a Wii version. The slow start to the 3ds is something Ninty doesn't want to repeat with Wii U, hence a Mario title very early in its launch window. I think after that Ninty will ease up on Mario for a while. People have already mentioned many Nintendo franchises that could use more love. I'd like to ass Waverace to that list.

Can't wait till this releases here in Oz. this is a day one purchase for me.

Managed to find a few online games. They ran smoothly mostly. Would like to meet up with more people online.
