Nah, I don't like Sonic games.

I'm getting: The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, Super Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze & The wonderful 101.

It does seem like it's going to be pretty great

This is a very rare occasion, but I agree with them. I think most people expected the next 3D Mario to really show what the WiiU is about and why the GamePad is essential.

Then, all we got was a sequel to a 3DS game. Nintendo does seem a bit off-track.

I am disappointed that RETRO is working on yet another 2D title. I would have loved to see a new franchise with a whole new HD engine from them. Especially after the news that they hired people from Naughty Dog, Vigil Games & Crytek.. They have some really great people underneath their wings.

That being said, DKC Returns was the best platforming title last gen. I can't wait for this one! It looks outstanding!

Can't belive it's coming out this year as well! Awesome!

It's set at a solid 60fps and the resolution has been upped to 1080p.

It looks absolutely fantastic. Everything is just so smooth and clean, and I LOVE the new skyline. Looks loads better than the one in the original.

Apparently Smash Bros. 4 is 1080p/60fps as well. I heard people at NeoGaf were saying Bayonetta 2 & The Wind Waker HD was also 1080p/60fps. Seems like the WiiU can handle more than I personally thought.

We haven't seen the HUB world yet. It might be a world in 3D, that'd be a first for the Mario series.

I'll probably end up buying it, the multiplayer looks like a lot of fun. But I was expecting something more exciting.

I think people might take his "criticism" a bit too hard. He's using foul language very casually so I wouldn't take it too hard if he told me to 'love off'.

He is a bit of a douche, can't argue with that, but people that aren't used to the way he writes might be taking it a bit too hard.

That'd be awesome. SART was better than both Mario Kart 7 and Wii, it also takes more skill since it doesn't use the dreadful rubber-band AI. I wouldn't mind Sonic characters in Mario Kart or vice versa.

I'm not very knowledgeable on the subject. But from what I've read there are supposed to be about 40 playable characters. 20 Pair-Units (a pair of characters) and 20 Solo-Units (individual characters ). The solo-units can be paired together with the pair-units, so essentially you have three characters to play around with whereas two of those are a pair and one is solo.

I don't think relationships between characters are as important as it is in FE:A though.

This looks brilliant. Day one buy for me!

It's a Strategy RPG game. The overworld layout is like in the Fire Emblem series, where you get to make chess-like moves and use strategic placements with your characters. The fighting sequences that are shown in every video is just the combat system.

Love the music levels. The one in the demo/app is so much fun! Looks great.

Watch Dogs looks a lot more interesting IMO. GTA as a franchise has gone downhill since Vice City.

Could very well be a Metroid game. Back in 09 they said they were done with the Metroid franchise but also that they may eventually return to Metroid. Since that was 4 years ago, they could have picked up the franchise again.

That sucks. Would be a nice option for save file backups.

And I agree. I doubt it's Mario, I'm pretty sure Iwata even said that their EAD Team behind 3D Land and Galaxy 1/2 is working on the next Mario title. We also know it's not Zelda, since Miyamoto confirmed that. I'm really curios!

Capcom has already developed two Zelda titles. So third party developed first party games aren't unlikely.

Also, RETRO Studios is a first Nintendo party studio.
