News: Mega Man 9 - Flicker Included!

Mega Man 9 - Flicker Included!

Capcom seems to be taking this trip down memory lane with their upcoming WiiWare Mega Man 9 game quite seriously. Not only will the game have 8-bit sound effects and visuals, but now Capcom is saying that this new Mega Man title will also have the same flicker that plagued many a game during the 8-bit era. About the only thing left for Capcom to do would be to require the player to jiggle the Wii Remote much the same way NES carts had to be jiggled to get the games to boot up on the loose contacts inside the NES cartridge slot. (We hope they don't take it quite that far, however)

Play Eternity’s Child Prequel – For Free!

Not many people seem to be aware that the upcoming WiiWare title Eternity’s Child actually started life as a mobile phone game. It was never officially released but creator Luc Bernard has put it on his site as a free download. What a kindly gent he is.

Space Invaders Get Even To Come With Bargain Price Tag

It seems that there's more good news for Space Invaders fans inside the newest issue of Japanese game magazine Famitsu. The magazine also confirms that there will be downloadable stages available that could cost you additional Wii Points. In another fun twist for classic shooter fans, gamers will also have the option of pl..
