What with the shiny new DSi Store on the way and the promise of ‘DS Ware’ floating in the air like some captivating butterfly, Nintendo has recently announced that Wii Points will be rebranded as ‘Nintendo Points’. The idea being that you simply purchase a points card and then use it on either machine. Easy, eh?
At a press conference in Japan today, not only did Nintendo announce a barrage of new DS/Wii games and a new DS, they also announced something Wii fans have been wanting for a long time - A storage solution!
Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has confirmed that the company is looking into the age-old Wii memory storage issue and has even gone as far as to say the solution they’ve come up with is ‘better’ than a hard drive.
