Eden Hazard - Real Madrid, FIFA 21

As expected, EA's premium sports series FIFA will be returning to the Nintendo Switch this year. Once again, the hybrid platform will be receiving a slightly updated version - officially known as FIFA 21: Legacy Edition.

If you've played any of the previous entries on the Switch, you should already know what to expect, but for those who don't, here's a rundown from EA's FIFA 21 FAQ:

What will be included in FIFA 21 on Nintendo Switch?

The FIFA 21 Legacy Edition on Nintendo Switch features the latest kits and squad updates for the upcoming season, updated presentation (in-game menus and broadcast overlays), but no new game modes or gameplay innovations.

To make it clear, the game will be running on the existing engine (designed for Switch), rather than the next-generation one. And as noted above, there'll be no new game modes or gameplay innovations.

This newest entry will arrive in October on PS4, X1, and PC - but at the moment there's no mention of a Nintendo release date. Until we hear more about this version, check out the latest EA Sports trailer (for other platforms) below:

Will you be returning to the pitch later this year? Tell us in the comments.
