If you needed one extra reason to purchase the Expansion Pass for Pokémon Sword and Shield, The Pokémon Company has issued a reminder that it will be offering a special outfit as an early purchase bonus.
Anyone who buys the Expansion Pass (containing The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra) before 31st August - including anyone who has already pre-purchased it - will be able to claim Leon's outfit.
To acquire this outfit, all you have to do is connect to the internet between 17th June and 31st August and then use the in-game Mystery Gift feature. Here's what the main character will look like as Leon:
When you buy the Expansion Pass, you'll also receive the "Pikachu Uniform" and "Eevee Uniform" as a purchase bonus:

I’d be more excited if the cape came with it. Without the cape it’s kinda meh.
@tabris95 the shirt is the in-game prize for becoming Champion (that's the reason he has it, after all, and why SPOILER he changes to a different outfit in the battle tower post game ENDOFSPOILERS)

@Lute-Waffle Because it's a global release they are releasing it at the same time everywhere. Which means the time will be different depending on the region you are in. Otherwise there would be problems with people in Japan having the update and people in the west not.

I was always so disappointed we never got Leon's hat as a Champion award. This is one reason I want the DLC. I also hope that, based off the Crown Tundra trailer, that we will finally be able to wear our chosen clothing for the Pokemon League instead of that awful default sports outfit. I at least wish we could wear our rewarded Champion uniform.

I purchased the expansion pass a long time ago and never got the Leon one or the Pikachu/Eevee ones and none of the suggestions are working. It's not a big deal, but I'm just confused why it's not working.
