It's another special moment for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with today marking the release of the ARMS character Min Min. This also happens to be quite an exciting time for the development team behind ARMS and to celebrate this very special occasion, it's shared an all-star illustration.
@SmashBrosJP In commemoration of the distribution, we also prepared a battle illustration drawn by the ARMS development team!
This fantastic piece of artwork (above) follows on from a drawing of Min Min and Captain Falcon slurping down ramen together. This illustration was shared over on the official Japanese ARMS Twitter account last week.
When Masahiro Sakurai announced Min Min would be coming to Smash, he also shared a stunning animated trailer based on the same scene. If you haven't already seen it, take a look:
Have you tried out the new fighter in Smash Bros. Ultimate yet? Leave a comment down below.

Hopefully Min Min's inclusion will spark new life to ARMS.
spring man in the back still gets me lol
Ooooooooooooooo
Those 2 images are beautiful
@boxyguy I chuckled seeing him there!
Such lovely artwork. I would love to see Nintendo's games take on a hand-drawn style similar to the above and Wario Land: The Shake Dimension with some of their upcoming releases.
Imagine how awesome hand-drawn/painted Metroid/Kirby games would look.
Captain Falcon and Min Min as friendly adversaries works so well, and I don’t know why
I ship Cpt. Falcon and Min Min
Now gimme the dark horse release of the comics ;-;
Have no intetest in SB but i did enjoy the video put together on the reveal of Min-min getting the invitation. Was well made. Who is the dark skinned female beut in arms?
@Kidfunkadelic83
Think you are referring to the fighter who use her hair right. If so that twintelle
This is clearly going to lead to Arms Race, the Arms/ F-Zero cross-over we never realised we needed.
This artist(s) makes some of Nintendo's finest illustrations
@Arnold-Kage a quick google will confirm you are 100% correct 👌
Min min feels awful in smash. Way too slow, weak, and laggy.
@boxyguy Waluigi should accompany him, because even though Min Min was a spirit, she got promoted. The case for Assist Trophies is not the same, which means that Waluigi, let alone Shadow, will not be made playable, unless it's a Fan Game called Super Smash Flash.
@YoshiAngemon
Min Min was never a spirit in Smash Ultimate though... she is now as a Fighter Spirit but before the DLC she was not originally in the game at all.
@NotoriousWhiz it's probably because you're trying to use her like you would Link or Mario. She is a ranged fighter like Simon. You have to choose your strikes. Also she has quick kicks for close attacks
@RPGamer muahahahaHAHAHAHAHA cough. I'm sorry it's too late
@Chibi_Manny Min Min was a spirit in Smash Ultimate. Unless the new update removed her in-game spirit she definitely was in the game. As told by other people (mainly Sakurai himself). Volume 1 of the DLC was planned BEFORE the release of the game meaning none of the characters would be Spirits. For example, there was no Piranha Plant Spirit in-game (there was a Nipper Plant and Petey Piranha). However, Volume 2 of DLC Fighters was made AFTER the game was made meaning Sakurai could Literally put whoever or whatever he wants in the game.
What is Samus eating? It's not ramen.
@NotoriousWhiz I felt the same at first. I was a kinda frustrated, so I played against a lvl 9 min min for awhile to learn how she fights. Now I’m in elite with her after a few days. The heavy arm is borderline broken when used properly.
Very nice. And the Min-Min reveal video was also awesome. But those Smash reveal trailers are always awesome.
