Animal Crossing New Horizons

Famitsu's Japanese chart figures are now in for 18th - 24th May, revealing that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is still leading the way for Nintendo.

The game shifted another estimated 102,553 copies last week, bumping its grand total of physical sales in Japan to 4.5 million. The second best-selling physical Switch game in the region, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, is now sitting on 3.7 million.

No new entries made it into the top ten this week, although Switch had a pretty cracking time, taking nine of the top ten positions. Only the recent Final Fantasy VII Remake managed to spoil Nintendo's party.
