Nintendo's been very busy this week releasing multiple updates for many of its major games. One of them is for Animal Crossing: New Horizons and the good news is it's now live.

This free update adds Leif's Garden Shop, Jolly Redd's Treasure Trawler, an art gallery within the museum, Nature Day, May Day Tour, International Museum Day, and Wedding Season. Players can now also redeem aloha shirts worn by Isabelle, Timmy, and Tommy with Nook Miles at the Nook Stop located within your island's Resident Services.

Apart from this, the update addresses some issues to further ensure an enjoyable gaming experience. Below are the full patch notes, courtesy of Nintendo's support page:

Ver. 1.2.0 (Released April 22, 2020)

The software has been updated if you see “Ver. 1.2.0” in the upper-right corner of the title screen.

  • General updates
    • The following visiting merchants can now visit the island.
      • Leif (gardening shop)
      • Redd (Jolly Redd’s Treasure Trawler)
    • Added seasonal events.
    • Addressed issues to further ensure an enjoyable gaming experience.
