If you've played an Animal Crossing game before, you'll know the opening phases of the game can be a little slow at times. You often have to go the extra mile to get ahead early on and in the latest release Animal Crossing: New Horizons it's no different.

If you take a quick look over on social media, you can see a lot of players are spending their time hoarding bugs and marine life while they wait for Blathers to arrive or for the construction of the island museum.

As you can see, it's got to the point where entire islands are literally a dumping ground for insects and sea creatures. If there's one takeaway from this, it's that you can at least stack the cages, crates, and tanks on top of each other to save some space – alternatively, you could put them in storage.

Is your island looking familiar to the images above? Tell us below.
