PlatinumGames rarely drops a lot of information at once, but when it does, it's often big news. Over the past few months, it's successfully funded a Kickstarter project for The Wonderful 101: Remastered, revealed Project G.G. - the powerful climax to the Hideki Kamiya superhero trilogy, confirmed there'll be a new Tokyo Studio, and unveiled its next-generation game engine.
Now, we just need to know what its fourth and final surprise is. According to the Japanese company's official website, all will be revealed at the start of next month on 1st April (yes, the date lines up with April Fool's Day). Given what's already been shared, there are a lot of possibilities. Could it be tied to something like Bayonetta or Viewtiful Joe? Tell us what you think below.

@GigaNibba @Torakaka @Anri02 As far as I know the Japanese, as a whole, do not celebrate April Fools Day. Of course with cross-culturalisation going on all the time, this may have changed in recent years.

At least they’re announcing something.. not feel too optimistic about a Nintendo Direct this week like the rumors said... but at least Platinum has something to announce.

Soon Nintendo will make a Nintendo Direct on that fakest day too.
My guess is they're developing the next F-Zero game but it's an Xbox One exclusive and will only release in Japan before Sony and Microsoft release their new consoles.
I hear Microsoft are only doing it to try to sell their original Japanese Xbox One launch stock and got the rights as part of the deal to have banjo in smash.
It must be true as my Grandmother who thinks a video game is a VHS of family fortunes told me.
My guess is they’ll make more than one announcement that day, then later reveal what was real and what was a joke.
If they really want to be clever, they’ll put out multiple ideas that they want reception for and then go with the most popular one, but that’s assuming the reveal will be for something fairly far out.

Probably something else that websites will milk to the end of days. Not saying that all journalists are bad, however after all the articles just on wonderful 101. I was not interested in it before, now It's the first game that I can't wait till it releases so I never have to hear about it again.
April 1st is the day that I don't go on the internet, at all. I just work, watch movies, and play video games all day. I never read anything online about anything on that day. My brother, on the other hand, will not realize what day it is, and read something, and call me up all excited and tell me something like "oh my god, did you hear, they just started filming the live action The Legend of Zelda movie today", and I'll have to stop him and tell him that it's fake, and he'll go, "no, no, it's real, I just read it online, it's real", and I'll have to break it to him I guarantee him that it's fake because it's April 1st today, and he won't want to believe it, and still tell me that it's online, and I'll have to repeat that it's April 1st, so not to believe anything. Then he gets all disappointed about it. But yeah, April 1st is the one day I don't look up anything about anything, nor believe anything that anybody tries to tell me that they read online. Not even my only brother.
That date though. If they're announcing the surprise now, then surely whatever it is must be genuine, ...right?

Any news received on April 1st is automatic trash. Believe me, I learned my lesson from the Sailor Moon live action reboot starring Lady Gaga news.

Not that I expect this, but it would be a great move by a notorious troll like kamiya to announce a trailer and release date for Bayonetta 3 in earnest on April Fool's Day.
