Here's Jasper Dolphin taking his Switch up on stage, and rightly so...

If you like to keep up to date with your music industry news, you're probably well aware that the Grammy Awards 2020 have just taken place. What you might not know is that the surprise star of the show - in our eyes, at least - was a Nintendo Switch console.

You'd have thought that playing video games while in attendance at the awards is probably frowned upon, never mind the act of taking your console up on stage, but that's exactly what Davon Wilson, known as Jasper Dolphin (like Dolphin?!), did when accompanying Grammy winner Tyler, the Creator to collect his award. The console wasn't immediately noticeable, but fans soon picked up on a neon red Joy-Con poking out beneath Dolphin's hand.

Of course, the next question that jumps to the mind is 'what was he playing?', and thankfully the rapper has answered that very conundrum on Twitter. As for which game specifically, we're none the wiser.

We imagine Nintendo doesn't mind the appearance one bit - how often do you get the chance to have your hardware seen by millions of viewers for free? Let's hope this is the start of a new trend...
