NIS America – a subsidiary of Nippon Ichi Software – is teasing new announcements for an upcoming video game event. This time all will be revealed at a PAX South 2020 panel, which takes place in San Antonio, Texas on 17th January next year.
According to a press release via email, the localisation, marketing and publishing company will be sharing "information that has never been revealed" along with brand-new announcements. The panel will also include a very special guest who will be helping reveal all of this information. What the reveal is remains a mystery.
NIS has shown ongoing support for the Nintendo Switch since it launched, and most recently released Disgaea 4 Complete+ on the system in October, so there's a good chance this info drop and the new announcements could be tied to it.

Ys 9 and Trails of Cold Steel 4 are obvious candidates, of course they'll get released for PS4 first then announced for Switch a month or two later and suckers like me will try to convince ourselves not to double-dip before inevitably caving in. I also noticed there are 6 Prinnies in the pic, perhaps something to do with Disgaea 6?
I hope it's gonna be Trails of Cold Steel 1 & 2 on Switch, it's so weird that just the 3 is gonna be released.
At me moment I care mostly for Disgaea 3 and Disgaea 4 on PC. Switch is not my system. So as a fan from Disgaea series I want the other 2 been released on Steam. I have Disgaea 1 and 2 on PS2 and on PC... Disgaea 5 PC only. Disgaea 3 and 4 on PS3. But I don't play them on PS3 anymore. Went to PC mode after the weak consoles they have released.. i couldn't be bothered to get a new console... neither ps4/xbox or switch got my attention. They are a generation or 2 behind. That ps4pro and xbox x should've been the ones at release and not after a year or 2... switch is same case to me. I can't support companies that can't be bothered to release a decent hardware. The earlier releases were much better and that's why some of them lasted 10 years. Can't say about the latest hardware. They all went (mostly AMD CPU) we all know that one is weaker than any Intel CPU at same speed. Nintendo Switch however was smart this time using Nvidia. nvidia is quality... AMD... is low compability and a lot of backlog when it comes to driver updates.. we need quality gaming and not cheap gaming. Fix it and I might get your next gen hardware. If you don't like what I wrote here just move on please. It's my opinion about the latest consoles. Lets be honest it didn't wow us

@Gurtelytis @Arehexes Yeah, RPG Maker MV was released in Japan last year and was a broken mess. The western release has been delayed multiple times, so I'm hopeful NIS is attempting to fix things.
As for PAX South? I assume we'll get western announcements for void tRrLM() and Murder Detective.

@mauhlin12 Speaking of double dipping and trying not to cave in, there's also those Metal Max games that were announced in October. I've been abstaining from getting Xeno since almost every game I get for PS4 ends up being ported to something I actually play on and it finally paid off.

With PS4 ports of Trails to Zero and Trails to Azure being announced for japan i really hope that those games being localized is an announcement.
if a switch port is included (like Ys VIII and cold steel 3 got) then that would be a bonus on top of an already great announcement.
