Also, a press release sent out today has revealed that next year's update will also add Nintendo Labo wheel support.


Original Article (Tue 10th Dec, 2019 13:30 GMT): Two important updates are on the way for fans of GRID Autosport on Nintendo Switch, bringing some very welcome multiplayer-focused additions.

The first, arriving at the start of next week, is set to introduce two-player split-screen and local wireless multiplayer for up to eight players. The second update, adding online multiplayer, will arrive next year.


16th December 2019:

  • 2 player split-screen
  • Local wireless multiplayer for up to 8 players

2020:

  • Online multiplayer

When we reviewed the game back in September, the lack of multiplayer was one of the very few faults we found with it. With these updates now firmly on the way, it's even easier for us to recommend the game to any fans of realistic racers.
