Gotta catch 'em all
Following on from last week's generic Pokémon event, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now hosting a special Pokémon Sword and Shield event.
The best news is it adds brand new spirits to the game! The event itself starts this Friday on 22nd November and will run for a total of five days, so you have plenty of time to catch 'em all.
Below are the spirits up for grabs:

Looking forward to seeing the matchups. I’m assuming a couple of Wolfs and at least one Falco?
And people still believe Spirits are a disconfirmation for characters, if a character is already a Spirit, the same character cannot be a DLC Fighter.
Not only they killed the chances of over 1000 characters, but they are still killing more.
Will we fight static models then? Will the stages fade in and out? Will all the fighters freeze when on a ladder?
If spirits disconfirm a character for Smash, the only other major Pokémon from S&S that I imagine could make it in as DLC character would be one of the final evolutions of the starters.
@Roam85 : Sirfetch'd would be an amazing addition to the roster, but knowing Nintendo, we're probably going to wind up with one of the fully-evolved starters as is standard operating procedure (ugh).
Which such colourful and diverse casts, I wish Nintendo would opt for more inspired choices when adding Pokémon and Fire Emblem characters to Smash.

Hoping Astral Chain and RingFit get some Spirits. And for old games, show Geist and Endless Ocean some love.

Glad they do these... but they should let them stay on the spirit board after the event.... I dont know

Gotta catch em all? Ha. I know it's the headline that you guys created but I would be really ticked off if I saw that on anything sword and shield related (like in official merchandise). That is no longer applicable
