Black Flag

A (since deleted) retail listing has potentially revealed the existence of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered for Nintendo Switch.

The listing was spotted at Greek retailer The Console Club (you can still visit the URL, but a pop-up message states that "the product does not exist"). Thankfully, Resetera user LukarWuff managed to grab a screenshot of the listing before it was removed.

As you can see, the listing suggests that both games would be part of the same release, potentially as a bundle of some sort, and also shows a release date of 6th December - although placeholder retail release dates such as this can never really be trusted. Assassin's Creed III Remastered did release on Switch earlier this year, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see more games of the series appear on the console.

The listing comes just weeks after another Resetera member first mentioned that both games were headed to Switch. We wouldn't ever recommend trusting a comment like this which provides no proof, but now, combining the mumblings it stirred with this retail listing, the whole situation does seem a little more believable.

Who knows, perhaps we'll see an announcement for the game appear in tomorrow's Nintendo Direct?
