Nothing for me, bought far too many games the past few weeks - will definitely pick up Ori at some stage though.
I still have 6-7 games waiting to be played on the switch and at least twice as many on PS4. Ori would move to the top of my waiting list if I find it with a nice discount
Lots on the wishlist this month, but no purchases. Great games though! Once I've cleared my backlog a bit, it will be another great purchase streak coming up!
September is always difficult: so many great games, but I can't buy them until my birthday comes and goes. Thankfully it's tomorrow and I will be able to buy anything I want and don't get.
It's a nice "problem" to have.
I can't remember the last time there were so many great games on offer at once.
@CrimsonMoonMist last week, last month, the month before... we live in great times.
Gonna be downloading Darksiders II, after I finished Links Awakening
Bought a few games on sale but that's probably it from the eShop for me this week. Gunvolt and Ori are a couple for the watch list and waiting for my physical copy of Dragon Quest XI to arrive.
Ori and the Blind Forest and Reaper for me. It's only up from here, folks!
Also, I had Reaper way back when it first came out on mobile and unintentionally sank HOURS into that game. The gameplay was surprisingly gripping and fun and the upgrades you purchased really felt like they helped make you more formidable. I'm hoping the new control scheme on Switch (with actual buttons) makes it that much better, but it was already pretty fun as it was. So I won't complain either way. Seriously guys, for a mobile game port, it's definately worth your time!
Physical
Darksiders
Dragon quest.
Contra.
Digital
Ori and the dragon quest games
Lol Northgard has the Darksiders II description...
My wallet is crying. 😭
Dragon Quest XI S
Darksiders 2
Ori and the Blind Forest
One heckuva trio there. But I'll also grab DQ1/2/3 and Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX physically.
Why would anyone buy FIFA 20 at full price on Switch? I can sort of understand if it was like £20 and you just wanted up to date teams without bothering to edit them yourself. But surely there are better things to spend £45 on?!!! Unless maybe people aren't aware that it's the exact same game as FIFA 19?
I dispute that “Full details here” for the sales.
You only list a couple dozen highlights, then link to Nintendo’s site.
To be fair, Nintendo’s site isn’t much better - they give the exact same highlights, and clicking “full details” there lists all 511 games currently on sale (spread across 22 pages, cos that’s easy to browse) - not just the 150 new ones.
Humbug.
@Tucker777 Why would anyone buy any EA game for any price on any platform?
@BenAV - good point!
I look forward to Ori. I wish a new Donkey Kong Country would come out soon, or at least it gets announced! I miss it so much, Tropical Freeze is from February 2014! Almost 6 years have passed...
experience Star Wars with modern controls
forgets to add invert option
🤦🏻♀️
DQXI and Ori for me.
"Offering both single and multiplayer options, it's an incredible gameplay experience alone or with your friends. - Read our CONTRA: ROGUE CORPS review."
Review is 4/10. 'Incredible gameplay experience'. I know you're using the blurbs provided by the developers for these, but c'mon.
Have the Wii u and 3ds discounts totally stopped, or are they to lazy on this site to mention them?
@BenAV
Wich games did you buy on sale??
You and I have very much the same style in gaming so Im curious
@DenDen What Remains of Edith Finch, Gone Home, Gorogoa and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. I think there's lots of other good stuff on sale at the moment too but I already own most of them that I want (I have way too many games).
Got the wrong description under Northgard, repeats the darksiders one. Thought of having a "send corrections" link?
It's now the Wednesday after, and Arcade Archives Scramble is not yet available across Europe. It's not listed on any of Nintendo's websites across the UK or mainland Europe (except for their Swiss website, although the title itself is not available to download).
